Great meat selection and everything else a decent tienda should have.

We live locally and dine there occasionally the food is good however sometimes we get a server that does not understand English... well. Four of us went for lunch there was some difficulty placing order with her due to the language barrier which is okay itappeared we got everything understood. Then when our food came we received three of the four orders we could not get theattention of our server. We were already done eating the three of us. Finally, she comes out with our fourth order. You'realready done eating as a group and the other person was disappointed because her order did not come when it should have she'sactually approximately 40 minutes so when we went to check out and pay our bill didn't pay for the of an order they brought usat the end of our dinner we explain it to the cashier at the register. They apparently gave us the feeling like it was no bigdeal and didn't say anything when we explained our situation would happen. It was disappointing because the food there is reallygood, I wanted to give it a five -star rating but I gave it four due to the quality of food but it could have been a five if thelanguage barrier could have been addressed. I'm not slamming me server. However, when you have people of ethnic diversity comein and order food, somebody should be able to take your order. Granted we were the only gringos in the place and I mean that as basically we were the only people not of Mexican origin which I have no problem with and our family did not. Honestly, looked like the food would have been decent but we didn't find out. Service was terrible. Ordered our food and we're... waiting. Very tasty! I had chicken a la plancha. It was nicely seasoned, but the chicken had a weird rubbery texture. I don't think it... had anything to do with the restaurant's cooking of the chicken--I think it was the quality of the chicken they received. Iloved the salsa makings they brought out when we arrived. They were really busy at lunch time, but it seemed like you could callahead with your order. Read more

Yes, yes, yes! Food is authentic and AWESOME! Service is friendly and awesome! They have homemade pork rinds that are the size... of a dinner place mat, no lie, you can buy it by the pound in the grocery area. Will definitely be back when going thru thearea! Read more

Excellent Mexican food and portions are large. I had the Enchiladas de Pollos which was more than I could eat for lunch.

Pay the one review about the tacos no mind...If you want a real Texas style tacos with onion and cilantro with lime wedges this... is only place to go! And the green sauce is out of this world! Read more
