This was a very pleasant surprise to find here in a quaint little town like Loudonville. Margherita pizza, jumbo loaded tots... and turkey bacon sandwich were all delicious. Nice craft beer selection too. Celebrating our wedding anniversary by staying atMohican state park. Decided to venture into town for some lunch and shopping. Really glad we did. Will definitely come back. Read more

Grandson and I tried the Bistro today. Atmosphere pleasant, decor very nicely laid out. Plenty of space between tables. The... large canvas pictures displayed about the restaurant were from a local forest and parks around the Mohican area. Our waitresswas friendly, shared stories about how the Bistro transformed. Such beautiful wood throughout. Food was delicious. Portion sizewas also nice to fit the prices. The only thing that kept my rating at a five ? was the dirty bathroom. Sink had a black stain.I was aware they had a busy lunch, but bathrooms and kitchens are a pet peeve of mine. I will definitely return to try more iftheir dishes. Read more

What an excellent place to get lunch on a beautiful June day. My wife found this spot while we were visiting Mohican Adventure... Park and it was delicious. The cheese curds were a hit and my burger was spot on. They use a potato bun which I love. Our serverHolly was exceptional and friendly and we hope to come back in the future. It's $$ but worth it. Great little gem of a restaurant! We were passing through and saw this place and decided to stop. The food was delicious and the... drinks were top notch! We were very impressed with the service, atmosphere and of course the food! The tots are highlyrecommended! I ordered a hibiscus drink from the spring cocktail menu and it was fabulous! I ordered a chicken dish with goatcheese and it was great! My husband ordered the spring taco special and said it was fantastic. We’ve definitely planned tovisit again when in the area. Highly recommend! Read more

I’ve stopped here twice on my way to the Mohicans and it is such a little gem of a restaurant. My first experience was during... Valentine’s Day weekend where they had specialty drink features and every single one was delicious. The bartender was superfriendly and encouraged us to try the different drinks which I loved and appreciated. Both times the food was delicious but myfavorite thing had to be the giant pretzel. The mustard dipping sauce is perfection. We ordered a crème brûlée for dessertthat had way too much sugar and wasn’t cooked properly but our server and the kitchen were eager to correct it. The BlackFork Bistro is on my top list of restaurants in the area. Food, drinks and service are five stars! Read more

Decided to take a little ride and had found the Black Fork Bistro on Google maps. Noticed they had French Onion soup, Cuban... sandwiches and shrimp & grits on the menu. The place was about full on a Wednesday. I got the soup and Ruby had a salad whichshe said was great. She ordered the Shrimp & grits and said to hold the grilled corn slaw but it came out with it anyway whichwas the only glitch. The chili garlic that was drizzled over the dish was spicy ???? ????! So much so that she bathed the shrimpin her water glass to be able to eat them! I got the French Onion pork chop which was delicious. For dessert, we split the BlackFork sundae which was the perfect ending. Branson was our server and he was top notch also. The next table ordered the BavarianPretzel which I had to take a picture of!
