Only 2 servers for the whole restaurant and they got kind of busy. But we had pretty terrible service. Food was okay at best.
Do not stop here! Please read!! The food is awful! Save yourself! The drinks all taste like sewer water lines, they need to be... cleaned it was awful. The whole place was dirty and the food is nowhere close to authentic even for Tex-Mex food was awful anddid not look like the photos or even close. Margarita was awful taste like dirty water. The restroom was absolutelydisgusting. Bri was awesome service and did grest job despite how gross thie place was. On another note, seemed like everyonewho worked here knew how unresponsive the owner was by telling us ?he never answers phone? so why bother even coming here if theowner is never here. Food was 10x greaser than anybody would want, and we come from a family of true authentic mexican food.Dont come here unless you like wasting your money. Your better giving the food to the homeless. We went into restaurant tonight We were a party of 2 A large party of 6 came in and we had been standing for long time The head... gal seated the 6 then after she had them seated she waved across the room for us to come th a seat She got attitude because Iasked if there was a broom as there was a pile of food at our feet She left we sat and watched the table of 6 get served I hadto go get menus and again from the head gal. We sat longer and finally left As we went out door I told her she could give ourseats to someone else and she ran her mouth saying she was not waiting on any one because she was sweeping I have to wonder ifit?s because we were minorities. Got an order to go. However, didn't receive tortillas for the fajitas. Requested no dairy on tacos and beans but there was... cheese on everything (couldn't eat any of that meal.) Margarita was not fresh. Salsa was like tomato soup. Called to let themknow about the mistakes on the tortillas and cheese but I just don't think they cared. I guess I was hoping they would try torectify since it was an expensive meal and we couldn't eat 1/2 of it. Some money back? Small gift card? Read more
Best dish I've ever had! Margherita's were awesome. I will definitely be back again and again and again! If your not afraid of... some heat this dish is rich, warm and has some wonderful flavors and heat! Never had anything like it! The Molcajete!! Worth atwo hour drive!! Read more
One word explains this place, disappointment. The good: My water was cold and kept full, nice patio area, the staff was... friendly, nice Mexican beer selection on tap (Pacifico, Negra Modelo, Modelo Especial and Dos Equis) and the service good. Thebad: ordered #1 with chicken, got #1 with beef, food was too salty, tacos blew out the bottom the minute they were picked upand shells were soggy. Read more
this place is not amazing. its the "'i'm craving mexican but all the good places are a bit of a drive from here. So i'll just... get this quick to tie me over." place. I do want to point out that even though this location has been here for a while under theLa Mesa name and even using the franchise website...The Franchise website does not have this location listed. I think it mighthave once been a La Mesa location but didn't do so well so was sold cheap and from there on out it did it's own thing. So i'msure True La Mesa restaurants up in KCK are far better.
