First time coming to lunch and have not had their food in a while (ordered delivery maybe 6 months ago). Was pleasantly... surprised at the quality, generous portions and price for lunch. Got the 2 roll special and ordered an extra roll, my favoriteis Salmon Skin Roll and I like to order it at each new sushi place to see how they do it. This one, while simple, had the skinnice and crispy with cucumber slices to make it more interesting. Will definitely come back again to try some differentitems. I have ordered from here a lot since moving to Louisville, and normally it wasn?t too bad. 2 of the last 3 times I have ordered... from here there has been something in my food. The first was a shrimp tail in my sesame tofu. I threw it away and kind of saidmeh. The last time there was a metal ribbon, from a steel wool or a scrub brush in the same dish. I don?t have super highstandards for food in Louisville, but this is insane. I also called to explain there shouldn?t be metal in my food and had toask for a refund. The person I spoke to said they would talk to the chef and tell them to watch for it. I had to ask them for arefund. They also didn?t refund the order, just the single item that had metal in it. I wasn?t going to push them harder over$50 in food, but at least refund all of it. It just feels insane to nickel and dime me when there was metal in the food. I hadto throw it all away! My advice, there are a ton of places in town that have better/cheaper food, better customer service, thatdon?t dabble in metallurgy. Read more

We stopped in for lunch and it was amazing! I got the sushi sashimi lunch special and it was to die for!! It was presented so... beautifully and it was delicious. We also got Thai fried rice and vegetable tempura which were so good. Price was awesome, foodwas great, portions sizes were big and all around a stellar experience we will definitely be back!! This is the best sushi place I have ever ordered from. I love sushi and have eaten at various places in denver and boulder and... this place tops my charts. Their portions are huge and it?s so disappointing to pay $$$ at other places just to get puny rolls.Their fish tastes so fresh and I honestly have no complaints for this place, so yummy! Read more

I?ve been ordering from Mr. Sake for six years. The food is consistently excellent, the drivers consistently courteous. I... remember at the beginning of the pandemic that they were closed for a month or two. I was so concerned that they wouldn?t beback. I was so relieved when they reopened. The sushi and rolls are just outstanding. We like so many of their standard dishes.I?m grateful for Mr. Sake and so glad they?re serving our community. Read more
