This is one of the best experiences I have had in a long time.. this is a restaurant you have to go to .. I mean you have to its... not as expensive as you would think to experience a true Ethiopian lunch or dinner all the food is spice full and bold and Ilove all the vegan options they had .. the service was tip top she was so nice and answered all the questions we had to ask thebest she could. We smashed the plate they brought out even my 7 year old son even loved it so it's a must..the restaurant issmall but clean and the coffee ceremony is amazing and so strong the bold flavor was sooo good and I was not ready for howwonderful I would love this.. this is a must and the price is so worth it I mean to experience this please go. The food was really good. A friend and I got the veggie lunch for 2 and were not disappointed. Baklava for dessert was amazing... and the coffee was delicious. Service was good too. Read more

Took a group of teenagers for a different experience. Arefaine Reda "Michael" took fantastic care of us. Suggested family... style platter and we experienced a little bit of everything. He did the coffee ceremony for us and we loved the experience. The incense smell with the coffee was Amazing! Who knew that coffee and popcorn go together?!? The best baklava I have ever had. Reasonably priced and definitely would go again. Even the teenagers enjoyed the food! Read more

Super awesome local business from Ethiopia that I cannot give enough appreciation for bringing their incredible to us so well.... Everything was cheap and authentic, they treated us very well and the environment was pleasant, and the food was even betterthan I expected. My only tiny complaint would be that the service was a bit slow, but that was because they truly an unusuallylarge crowd when we came, however they still served us at a good pace (it really wasn?t that slow). I wish I could?ve gotteneverything, but I got the spicy lamb tips with split peas and red lentils - can?t think of any criticism, it was all so muchbetter than I imagined. Love this place and I?m not from Louisville, but I sincerely hope I can come back some day. Read more

From my Ethiopian friend: the potatoes could use more flavor. In general, the food can use more flavor. The place was good, but... a little show on service in the beginning. Nice folks, though. Happy new year. ???? Read more

Our first adventure trying Ethiopian cuisine and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was very quaint with an authentic... welcoming vibe to a very diverse group of diners on this day. I really enjoyed the Injera bread (I think that?s how it?sspelled) served with and under our meal. Though there was only one server working several tables and takeout, he was veryefficient and attentive. Read more
