Went to the Applebees in Louisville ky at the outer loop and the whole experience was horrible. Waited forever to get a table... when there were tables and booths open, ordered drinks and mine was like slushy water, out appetizer came out and 2 mins laterour food came out so by the time the food came we were not hungry. Took the food home and when we went to eat it the steak wasmed rare not med well like we asked for. Walked right in and was seated quickly. Brittney was running the bar, seating guests, taking orders, and bringing out food. ... She did a GREAT job. If I could give zero stars, I would. Went in on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables of customers. We... sat as the bar because generally service is quicker. Sat there for almost 10 minutes before we even saw a staff member. Had toflag down someone to even get drinks. Got a frozen drink that tasted like plain shaved ice ($6) and a Corona and then the serverdisappeared again. Had to flag down another server to ask for the bartender so we could order a shot and our food. I asked abouta menu item and the server/bartender didn't seem like she knew much about it. 18 minutes later we got our food, still no shots.Hubby ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken, the shrimp was over cooked, the onions under cooked, and the chicken was tough andchewy. I ordered the Bourbon Street Burger; it was saturated in grease and super salty. Couldn't even finish half of it. Thefries were also undercooked and soggy like they'd been reheated in a microwave. Our server/bartender never came back over to askhow the food was, if we wanted refills or if we needed anything else. We saw glimpses of other staff wandering around but theyseemed more interested in talking to each other or staring at their phones. Took awhile to get the check and longer to pay it.Again, no one asked how our meal or service was, nor did they say thank you. I wish I could post photos to show how nasty thefood was. Read more

Visited for the $5 drink special and the half priced late night apps. The restaurant was having problems with the a/c but... nonetheless the service was great and the food was delicious. It was a great way to end our night. Read more
I have no idea why I keep coming to this location. every time is a complete and utter disappointment. we waited 10 minutes to be... seated and another 15 before someone even asked us "have you been helped" another 10 minutes (no one else in the wholeresturant) for them to tell us she's just gonna give us to another server which makes me think she waited for someone else toshow up so she could go home . still no drinks at this point. we decided to leave and are met with the nastiest additude whenthey finally after 30 minutes of waiting return with the waters we ordered.
