Last Christmas Eve, we were on our way from Chicago to Florida for a family wedding. (I grew up in Louisville). We called... Brasserie Provence at around 6:00. They said sure, they would have a table for us! Christmas Eve, at the last minute! It wasjust the two of us, but was one of the nicest evenings ever, and made an unexpectedly special Christmas Eve!!!!! The food wasfabulous, the atmosphere was warm and charming, and we won’t ever forget it!! Next time we come to Louisville, we willdefinitely have dinner at our favorite French restaurant in my hometown??. Read more

We went for date night and loved it. We got a great wine recommendation. We decided to go with small plates. We LOVED the cast... iron mushrooms and the French onion soup. The melange platter was a delight, with amazing cheeses and fig jam. We finished withthe macarons, drool worthy. The service was slow-paced and attentive, which was exactly what we wanted. The owner chatted withus before we left, making sure everything was perfect. We’ll be back for more date nights! Read more

My second time having dinner here and it was excellent again. Had the prime pork chop (honey lavender) with ratatouille and... gratin dauphinois. The pork chop may be my favorite pork chop I’ve ever had. Moist and tender, excellent flavor all the waythrough. We has their fromage (cheese) plate for an appetizer, with a pesto cheese, three-cream Brie, and a blue cheese withgrilled bread, raspberry purée, and fig jam. I was so full from dinner I got my dessert (key lime tart) to go. Service wasalso excellent and the owner regularly walks the dining room to greet and check in with guests. One of our favorite places inthe city. Read more

This was a disappointment. The service was very slow. I had hoped to get a couple of drinks but only ended up getting one... because the service was incredibly slow. The food was disappointing. My companion got the Black Bean cake and was extremelydisappointed. She typically likes everything. I got the Steak Frites and it was very bland. Ended up spending $90 which included3 alcoholic beverages but before tip...which I didn't want to leave. Will never go back. Read more

A perfect dining experience. The COVID precautions were in place and appreciated. The staff provided excellent customer service... and make it seem effortless. The Upscale setting was comfortable and provided an ambiance that made our evening feel special. And then there was the food. It was everything you would want for fine dining. I had the pork chop, French onion soup, andraspberry cheesecake. All of it delicious and worthy a separate review. Thank you Brasserie Provence for living up to yourstroller reviews. You've earned the praise. Already looking forward to my next visit. Read more

Loved it! Everyone was super friendly. The salmon was modified a bit to accommodate my lactose intolerance, but everything... tasted amazing. Incredible seasoning accompanied by a great bodied wine. Dessert was truly mesmerizing, I would have orderedanother if I wasn't full already. Thank you! Read more
