Great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered carryout during Sunday lunch rush, food was prepared quickly! Ordered... dumplings and pot roast. I haven't been to crackerbarrel in years and was expecting it to cost a fortune. It was only 22 andsome change. Which was well worth it! I will definitely be back. The food was great. The waitress we had needs more training or something. It took forever before she came and got our drink... order. By the time she did we had already looked at the menu and knew what we wanted. So we give our drink order and food wewanted. We did build your own breakfast. We got our eggs, hash browns, and meat. Never got our biscuits and gravy. Finally shecomes with complimentary biscuits and I ask what about the biscuits and gravy come with our meal. She brings a bowl of gravy outfor two of us to share and no plates. We needed a plate due to the fact our other plates were stacked together since we had beendone eating for a while. Mid-afternoon on a Saturday the 30 minute wait wasn't bad. Their egg skillet was down so you couldn't buy anything with eggs.... Again, not a problem, we all.wanted lunch anyways. Waitress started off doing really well, but once the food arrived she startedto slack off. Missing parts of our order, having to wait another 40 minutes for a small bowl of gravy , some butter and jelly.Other than that everything went well and the food was delicious. Read more

I'm not a big fan of Cracker Barrel and never have been but this one was different. The 3 hostess on duty were great and had an... awesome sense of humor. The waitress was nice and efficient and this time for the most part the food was good! I had the Catfishwhich was GREAT! With Fried Okra, which was so so, Mac & Cheese which was THE BEST I've EVER had and it's always been myfavorite food, then Biscuit's which were really dry. So I say all in all, it was great! Always love the food and almost always have a great server. Only reason for 4 starts is the take-out is ridiculous. Great servings. Great environment. Small wait but seating was quick. Walked away stuffed and sleepy. Exactly what we needed.

Our server was kind, and thy atmosphere was relaxed, but the service wasn't exceptional. Several of us were disappointed in our... food. My husband got a steak, which was a little dry and not very flavorful. I liked the cooked carrots, but the grilled chickentenders (like much of our food) were just OK.
