First time eating here. Didn't take too long to get carry out for four. We all enjoyed our meals and you get a lot of food. The... price was reasonable, too. The only thing I can complain about was the orange chicken. The chicken was covered in a lot ofbatter and even a few pieces didn't have any chicken inside them at all. The service was really bad?they were racist and bad customer service . I found hair in my food and it took them about 10 minutes... for them to notice my attention and I was my sister and I were the only customers so I don?t know why they were ignoring us andthey were their one sitting the opposite of our and the other one on the counter. Great local Chinese food. If I had one complaint it would be that the pre-cook their breaded chicken that goes into things like... General Tso's and Sesame Chicken, and then cook it again to bring it to temperature. This leads to overcooked and stringychicken a lot of times, which is not very good. Read more
If you've had good crab Rangoon, don't expect that taste from here. I took one bite and giving the rest to Oscar the grouch.... Even the shrimp fried rice was below average. Keep in mind this review is from the era of labor shortages and health mandates that have effectively crippled the small... restaurant industry in the US. This place is absolutely perfect. Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, and the staff wascourteous. Coming from a New York native, Double Dragon II serves exactly what I think of whenever I want some American Chinesefood. Food was very good, very tasty, not too salty, very good flavor. I called in my order but they were still working on it when I... arrived, but I was just right across the street at KY Truck Plant, so I didn't have far to travel. Lunch Prices $6.49... Had the lunch lo mein with vegetables, it comes with rice. I ordered the hot and sour soup as a... side. The best part of the meal was the hot and sour soup. It was wonderful. The lo mein was very good and had plenty ofvegetables, though the rice was dry and flavorless. My solution was to put rice in the soup. All in all it was a good value. Read more
