I eat firehouse subs about once every couple of months. It?s a favorite of mine. Always delicious and hits the... spot. Unfortunately todays experience fell well short of the norm. We waited about 15-20 minutes to get our two sandwiches.This seemed strange since we could see at least 5 team members behind the make stand, and only 4 customers in the store. Bothsandwiches came out somewhat cold. The meat had been warmed but the bread was room temperature. The bread also seemed different?not soft or fresh tasting. It almost seemed stale. The manager was apologetic for the wait, which we appreciated hisacknowledgment. But the overall experience was disappointing. Hopefully just a fluke, but figured management would want toknow. I hadnt been to Firehouse for several years, as it isn't near my house. Not what it used to be, at all. Firehouse was my... favorite sub chain. The flavor is still pretty awesome for a sub chain, but the subs are heavy on the bread now. Furthermore, Iordered extra lettuce, tomato, and mushrooms on my Engineer (my usual go-to since the late 90s) and there were literally fivenickel-size slices of mushroom... and definitely no extra lettuce or tomatoes. I also ordered a meatball, planning on twomeals... but threw out so much bread, I ended up eating both for lunch. Sadly, it is "farewell, Firehouse." Read more
Fire, all the sandwiches are good beside the meat ball, my husband didn't like the meatball sub. Crystal with the purple hair... was awesome & the other staff members was great too and they fixed the problem and replaced his sandwiche.. I would go back !!!!Thanks Read more
Ok, I got 2 sandwiches and a order of Mac n cheese. I?ve had the Mac before it was great, this time it looked like Mac soup.... When I showed it to the manager he said it was fine. He was very rude to me, I ask for a refund he said no. I could not believehow big a deal this man made out of this. I said enjoy your money and he said he would would.
