I have purchased many sets of beans from this company. They are always friendly and follow up. Orders arrive well-packaged and... pretty promptly. Some offerings are better than others, but that's probably about finding your own tastes, rather than that thequality is off. The offerings are a bit limited, but change with the seasons; so, overall, you have plenty of options over time.I think this is a good company that deserves fans, and the prices are excellent. This is my go-to place for coffee beans. You can't go wrong with any of their blends, but I'd recommend Day Tripper for those... new to Good Folks or coffee in general. Day Tripper is beautifully balanced with a lot of "classic" coffee notes like chocolateand caramel. Of course, that's not to mention my favorite thing Good Folks Coffee has: Single origin coffees. In a year whereI've been unable to travel it's been a real treat to taste coffees from around the world from the comfort of my home. TheGuatemalan single origin from Doña Maria Velasquez's farm is a particular favorite, especially the light roast version. Icannot recommend it enough. I buy a bag every time I'm able to when I'm ordering from Good Folks Coffee because it's just thatgood. Their local pickup option is fast and convenient too. Read more
I discovered Louisville's Good Folks through a coffee subscription service a couple of years ago, and now get my beans either... directly from their website or from my local coffee roaster (I'm in Miami) almost exclusively. Good Folks' beans are alwaysuniformly and impeccably roasted, arrive fresh, and make consistently delicious coffee, no matter the origin or blend.Outstanding quality.
