The food and the service were horrible. I think I and my two friends caused a problem because we wanted to order from the menu &... not do the lunch buffet. I got the Mongolian Beef and I counted 5 small pieces of beef and the rest was onions. The fried ricehad no flavor at all & I had to add soy sauce. One of my friends said her meal wasn't good either. The other friend said herswas good, but how can you mess up sweet & sour chicken. Two of our orders came out together, and we had to wait on the thirdone. We had to ask for more water. Not much of a selection on the buffet, some items were almost gone and or hard/dried up, we arrived an hour after the buffet... started and it wasn't crowded. No egg drop soup, just hot and sour and wonton soup. All the wasted space on tables and chairs,when they could put in another buffet table or 2 with other offerings. Only one and only a small salad/dessert dedicated at theend of it. Read more
I never leave poor reviews, but this time I had to. This was my first time ordering here and I was pretty excited. I ordered... through Grubhub ($70) after delivery etc. The delivery was great, the food on the other hand was just a huge let down. I ordereda Hot and Sour soup, Chow Mein, and the General Tao’s chicken which all ended up in the trash. The Chow Mein was watery,tasted off, and was slimy. The General Tao’s chicken was soaked in sauce that was tasteless, veggies were hard, and chickenwas mushy. Lastly, the Hot and Sour soup was nothing like anything I’ve had before. It tasted like something was burnt and wasoverly seasoned. I tried to eat it, but just couldn’t after the first few bites. I really don’t like leaving this review,especially now a days with how things are. But for the cost of food and delivery I feel like I lit $70 on fire. Read more
Been eating at Jade Palace since they opened in Jeffersontown. Love their dim sum. Had friends say it was every bit as good as... in San Francisco. The Chinese menu is interesting to explore too. They also have a traditional Chinese menu. The food hasalways been good. All restaurants are having a hard time finding help. At least they are still here serving good tasting food. Read more
Went to Jade Palace for lunch while working in the area. I got the buffet. Given the current price hikes nationwide, I felt the... $10 price was fair. The food was good, hot, and fresh. The choices were a little narrow, but all the basic items you wouldexpect were available. The server was also super nice and checked on my table several times. I was so excited to get some Chinese because it has been awhile. I went with Jade Palace for the first time that in Louisville... Kentucky. the potstickers were soft and had no crisp to them but had good flavor. The egg drop soup was good. The Black PepperChicken meal that I got for $17 was supposed to be the chicken rice and an eggroll did not receive my eggroll and black pepperchicken meal was completely rotten/spoiled NOT edible! It made me sick to my stomach after trying one piece each of the corn,broccoli and one piece of chicken just to see if it was me. I will never eat there again that was the worst experience when itcomes to Chinese food. Money wasted on a meal I had to throw out. Standard Chinese lunch buffet. Food was fine, servers very nice and attentive, buffet price at $10 was quite reasonable.... Interesting feature - they have a robot that brings carry-out from the kitchen to the front desk and plays classical music. Read more
