We found La Chasse on the open table app. We decided to give them a chance after reading a few glowing reviews. The staff was... great! We started with a French onion soup and Caesar Salad for our appetizers. We enjoyed the Bistro burger and a specialpork schnitzel sandwich as our entrees. This restaurant is well staffed and the execution of the food was excellent. The menu,wine list, and cocktail menu were amazing. We will be back and can not recommend this establishment enough. Fantastic dinner with friends last night at LaChasse. Everything we had was so flavorful. Amazing wine list with prices to... match every budget. The service was great too. Really talented team in the kitchen. They even make all of their bread in house. Shared plates of escargot, grilled Brie and the app special ribs. All delicious. And decadent. For dinner the chicken (sotender)with a sweet and savory sauce, NY strip cooked perfectly medium rare, and the crab encrusted cod. Honestly one of thebest meals we’ve had in Louisville. I’ve had so many lovely meals here and tonight was no different. I was celebrating an anniversary with my love and our server... John made it to extra special. He was a true pro; attentive but not intrusive. He timed everything appropriately, made us feelwelcome and like he cared what kind of time we had. My sister and I had dinner at La Chasse for my 65th birthday, everything was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and... accommodating, the food came out hot and on time! My sister had a fish dish that she loved and ate every bit, I had the burger,I too ate every bite, so good! The owner treated us to some yummy desserts which we gobbled down.
