( I had to come back to revise this review. I ordered take out because I was full from the appetizers. It is now 8pm and I... heated my dinner. I asked if I could get shredded beef instead of ground beef for my burrito. Which I was told I could getsteak instead. However I am so upset right now. I guess I don't have to say. I got ground beef ( which was full of FILLERSnot steak. More FILLERS and less ground beef. This is the very reason why I didn't want ground beef) Please if you order takeout Please check before you leave. I didn't because the staff was so nice. I thought everything would be ok. I spent $90.00and a $20.00 tip. I'm disappointed at this point. I hope your experience will be better!!!! Today was my first time at thisrestaurant. The food was good, if you like Mexican/American (NO FLAVOR) tasting Mexican food. I was looking for authentictasting Mexican food. With that Mama's kitchen taste. The reason I gave them 5 stars is because the staff was excellent. Verykind and considerable. Made me and my son feel welcomed. Our server was new (his first day) he did a Great Job!!! Friendly service when we walked in, quick seating, the fans weren't on and it was a nice hot one in June so the restaurant in... the back where we sat was a little warm... But the margaritas were great!!! Then the street tacos were on point ( Monday andTuesday they do taco days so they are only $2.50 each, great deal!! ) !! I went there for Louisville Taco Week. I got there and it is quite busy at 5:30 pm but I figure that it is popular place. But I... got the table quick since I am only one. It is little hard because I am deaf and this server wear mask but since I know what Iwant and order quickly. I am surprised how quick they serve. I ordered three tacos along with their special drink. Their tacosare delicious and so is the drink. I would like to visit this place again or order takeout. Read more

This establishment is favorite Mexican food restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. They have big portions and delicious flavor in... every dish I?ve tried there. The tortilla chips and salsa are always placed quickly and the service of the staff is always onpoint. That?s why this place stays busy. Luckily for me, my lady and I have never had to wait for a table. As for my MexicanRice Bowl, it was missing the queso but they brought it to me once I made them aware. The service and food here are great. The restaurant itself is also laid back and cool. The queso fundido with chorizo was... delicious and slightly salty but still amazing. The corn tortillas were so soft and perfect- not sure if they make them in housebut either way they're really good. The tacos were hefty in proportions. Had the carne asada, al pastor and carnitas. It was alot of food- more than expected so if you normally can eat three tacos maybe just do two at this place or come very hungry. Irecommend this place for quick food with great service. Read more
