Cannot say enough good things about our experience here. Everyone was friendly. Old fashioned was made PERFECTLY - Manhattan was... also very good. The ambiance is elegant but welcoming. Definitely give Marketplace a try on your Urban Bourbon Trail adventure.I wish I could remember our waiter/bartenders name, but he was also very kind and knowledgeable about bourbons. Experiences likethis one are reasons why we continue to return to Bourbon Country. Read more

Very unique setting. Server was good. Ordered a pizza with side salad. Never received salad, pizza was nothing special. Wife... ordered a spicy Chinese dish, they left out the spicy part rendering the dish pretty bland. Dessert was bread pudding with rumsauce. Sauce was tasty but the rest was dry with very little taste. Read more

Not terrible but not quite stellar. We stopped in for a quick lunch in the theater district on a weekday. It was not too busy... and we were enticed by the greeter at the door and the sandwich board advertising $10 lunch combos. We started out with somesweet potato waffle fries which were delicious! Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, dusted with a light coating andfinished with flaky salt. We both ordered the lunch combos, mine was the pulled chicken sandwich with a white bean and tomatosoup. They sent the soup out separately so they included an heirloom tomato salad that was really good! The soup was a littlegreasy for my taste which I didn’t expect. I pictured something creamy, but this was almost like a chili. The sandwich wasalso a surprisingly dry. I pictured a simmered meat in sauce but it was like regular seasoned chicken pieces. The Cuban sandwichwas sort of whimpy without much pork. So... there’s room for improvement, but the staff and ambiance were warm and inviting.Hopefully the food catches up! Read more

We used the Marketplace for our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding. At first, I got aggravated as there was a lack of... communication on their part. However, despite the delay in responses, everything was figured out in time for the dinner andeverything was executed exactly as we planned! The food was delicious! Several of our guests have mentioned this to me severaltimes since the dinner. And the venue was beautiful! We rented the back patio area under the pavilion. I was a little nervoushaving a dinner outside in June, but it turned out to be wonderful! They were very accommodating and helpful the day of! I woulddefinitely recommend the Marketplace for an event! Read more

The food was just okay but the customer service was amazing. I had calamari as an appetizer...it was very pale and unseasoned. I... had chicken as my entree, it was a little dry and under seasoned but the kale and yukon mashed potatoes were delicious. I wouldgo back because the customer service was great and I met some amazing people. Read more

Nice ambience, low lighting. Came in with colleagues for dinner. Prices were kind of high especially before currency exchange. I... had the garlic herb marinated chicken buttermilk battered and fried. Served with dry mashed potatoes and maple syrup roastedkale! Not used to having any sweet with my savory. No gravy or sauce to balance our such a dry sweet entree. The otherdishes ordered included gnocchi that were doughy and heavy. My friend was very disappointed by this dish. The roasted vegappetizer and salad entree was well received. Only one of us ordered dessert- a unusual take on strawberry shortcake with 3 tinycookies, strawberries 2 ways including macerated and freeze dried all garnished with a reduced balsamic vinegar syrup. Not whatI would have expected for a dessert. Service was attentive and discreet. Read more

Before Show Dining We frequent the Palace and are always looking for new restaurants to try and this was no exception; however,... I tried to reserve a table in the past and they go quickly so this time when I ordered my Palace tickets I made our dinnerreservations at the same time and we were not disappointed. With all the construction there was a parking advisory but since wehad a 5:30 dinner reservation we were able to park very close and since the restaurant is mere steps from the Palace we optedfor dessert and coffee following our meal which had us at the theater in plenty of time for the 8:00 performance. When I madethe reservation I stated that one of the party was vegetarian and our menu selections reflected that request. The vegetarian hada starter of roasted vegetables and a gnocchi main dish which were excellent! The meat lover of the party enjoyed the poachedegg salad on smoked salmon starter followed by lamb shank main course. We shared a pear cobbler with coffee. Everything wasexceptional, even the coffee. Our server was attentive and the level of conversation was very comfortable. We are alreadyplanning our next visit. Read more

Upscale menu in an intimate setting. We celebrated our 2-year anniversary here with escargot, pork tenderloin, duck and amazing... cocktails. Perfect for a special date night! Read more
