Did not get my hot sauce and I did not want ice in my soda. The two boys in there had a attitude. I had to wait for one of them... to serve me. One was putting ketchup in little containers. And the other one was putting food in bags for customers.I don'tthink they will be working there too much longer. They don't realize that the customer is the reason that they are open. Read more

Well it's always been great food every since I was big enough to go here so I don't have any bad things to say about the food... and I don't know about eating in the store but everything else is smoking great. Read more

The food has gone up even higher then the already outrageous price it was before, but the service there makes up for having to... spend a few extra dollars. A million people could be there ordering something to eat and still you're in and out quick. Theyare on it at for real when it comes to getting your food together, because not only do they get your food prepared quickly, it'salways right Read more

The fish speaks for itself. The kid working was trying so hard. I'm not sure what the woman cooking's job title was but she... could have been a little more informative and helpful to him as he learns instead of being short and mean. He needs guidance andto learn how to keep that food excellent. Not someone calling him out all the time. Read more

Delicious! Feels like stepping back in time here, I imagine this place looked the same in the 70s as today! Friendly workers... and clean place. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. My only complaint would be they still have covid precautionslike it's 2020, so the dining room is closed, plexiglass and signs about covid everywhere, seems unnecessary in Sept 2022. Wetook our food to go and it was all great. The fish while deep fried isn't greasy at all which makes it delicious! Read more

I have a lot of nostalgia about this place. Grew up eating their fish sandwiches. Moved to Florida 16 years ago and still crave... them. Had to have one before I left Louisville when I was passing through. Fries are better than they used to be but the fish isstill yummy. Read more

I think I saw this place mentioned on a college campus documentary once, hence I decided to stop by here on my way to the... airport. It received a lot of great local reviews and has a long history, but I could kind of tell from what the pictures whatto expect, and unfortunately it delivered against my low bar. They haven't opened the dining room so it's all carry out. Iordered the #3 combo which is their 1 piece cod sandwich with a half order of onion rings and a drink. First off, the servicewas friendly and there was no line when I was there. They make things fresh and the portions are HUGE. Even the cuts of theonion rings were large, not just the quantity. The breading is pretty crispy and honestly that's all you can taste instead ofthe fish. The "sandwich" part is kind of misleading as it's more like BBQ and they throw a couple of slices of bread in withthe rest. White bread and hot breading. Yeah. If that's your idea of a sandwich then this is your spot. The onion ringswere a little better as the onion taste came through the breading. The coke was a coke. They have a fair amount of otheroptions - most involving the fryer and more breading. Cost is comparable to upscale fast food so you won't break the bank. Idoubt I'll return but don't regret chalking up the experience. Read more
