Went to pick up lunch today. Placed my order and took 25 minutes for a bowl of Bun Bo Hue and Bahn Mi sandwich. While waiting I... had to overhear the folks in kitchen arguing. New server was being trained, felt sorry for her, as she wasn't quite ready yet.Other parton's had to get their own chop sticks and utensils. We have eaten here before. The Bun Bo Hue broth was good, but notthe usual. It looked and tasted more like Pho broth. It didn't have any pork blood cake either, and was lite on the meat. TheBahn Mi was lite on the Aioli. Was fairly dry eating. The worst part was the gentleman that was telling me that I should haveplaced my order online, so I wouldn't have to wait as long. Read more

I ordered takeaway from NamNam & was happily surprised to see that restaurant has reopened its dining room after pandemic and... kitchen reno closures. As always the food was so fresh and flavorful - mint and pickled carrots and crunchy bean sproutsalongside pieces of LG steak perfectly grilled. Light & healthy but somehow also a decadent treat. I can't wait to head over fordinner and enjoy my next entree on-site. Read more

Namnam is the best, affordable, carryout Vietnamese restaurant! I had meant to write a review years ago. Their food is always so... good! They are family-run & they use fresh, all-natural ingredients, often from local farms like Stone Cross Farm in KY. I lovetheir tofu eggplant, summer rolls, sauces, and everything else - so flavorful! They also have yummy bubble or boba teas. Chrisis always so nice, and I wish we could drive St. Matthews more and get their food! Read more

Ordered the Green Curry Pork for carryout. Overall it was pretty good. Only thing stopping from getting 5 stars was that I... received tofu instead of pork as I ordered. Gas price is to high for take backs. Read more

Namnam Cafe is a great place to eat! The restaurant itself is very cozy and cute, and they have an outdoor seating area as well... as indoor! With drinks, they have specials that change and you can order all kinds of flavors of bubble tea and coffee! I thinktheir menu is pretty big for a Vietnamese restaurant (others I?ve been to only have about half of what Namnam has). I ordered apineapple bubble tea and to eat, I got the Saigon noodles with chicken. I love how they specify that they can make this dishgluten free, because that can sometimes be a concern with noodle dishes! The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot! It wasthe perfect about of spice for someone who can?t handle too spicy. The pineapple bubble tea was the perfect balance betweensweet and tangy - it reminded me of a pineapple whip dessert! I will be coming back to Namnam in the future!! Read more

A copious amount of good quality noodles in the Pho. The meatballs were a bit tough, but the other ingredients were well done... and good quality. The sausage in the Nam Nam Roll was delicious too! I wish they had a way to order just the sausage. The brothcould have a bit more flavor, but nothing chili sauce and oyster sauce cant fix. Read more
