Reviews for Penn Station East Coast Subs in Louisville, KY
The Philly tasted good, it did not have much meat. My friend felt the same about his sandwich
The food was good the restaurant was clean but they messed up on our order and made one of the sandwiches wrong.
Sandwich is small and flavorless, have a peanut allergy they use peanut oil for there fry?s, which is posted. The part that... messed me up was the peanut oil billowing smoke out into the restaurant. Read more
Food is great, of course it?s not healthy but its good fast food and the fries are bomb. However this location is very dirty,... sticky tables, dusty benches, etc. Clean up and a higher review would be here. Read more
What makes this place special is their current general manager. One can tell a huge difference between this place before he... joined, and now. Customer service, on time food preparation, cleanliness are just some of the big changes he introduced to thisplace. Great to see that someone really has the ability to make sure all the processes are running smoothly. Read more
Stopped here for lunch because the location near my employer on (Chamberlain Lane) is having "issues"..but that's another story... in itself. A co worker suggested I go to this location off Blankenbaker and I'm glad I did. The sandwich was cooked andprepared perfectly. They also fixed my food really fast. I asked for pickles on the side, and realized I didn't have them in mynag, but the young man with the long ponytail was more than helpful and accommodating. The gentleman with the ponytail was verypleasant and very well mannered, saying please and thank you to every customer, very personable and friendly. When you look foremployees to work for you, these are the qualities that really stand out. Superior service. Read more
Just got into Louisville and close to my hotel. Needed some food and searched for places near me. Penn Station subs came up.... Small place and a menu to the point. Ordered a cheese steak and medium handcut fry. Got down to the end of the counter and thegal confirmed my order asked if I would like a fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh cookie or fountain drink. Paid and sat down. About5 minutes and food out. They call your name as they bring it out to where you are sitting. Food was fresh and hot; even thefries. Fries were not greasy and lightly salted as I like them. My cheese steak was full of flavor, juicy and a mess to it, buthey it's a cheese steak. Place was clean. Staff polite and friendly. Reminded me of a cross between Five Guys and Jersey Mike's. Penn Station's fries are similar to Five Guys but less greasy and thicker. Their hot cheese steak had more flavor and stayedwarmer longer than what I have had at Jersey Mike's. Give this place a try. Read more
