This place is funny, I?ve been now coming just to see if they ever get the order right. Literally the last 10 times, all wrong.... Best fries and lemonade in town! Great service at the store on Lower Brownsboro Road. Fast and friendly! The fries are cooked... in peanut oil, but are deliciously gluten free! The lemonade is NOT cooked in peanut oil and is just amazing. Go ahead and getyour favorite sub sandwich as a salad if you want low carb or gluten free. As always there food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and scrumptious! There has never been a time where I have gone to any Penn Station and... they served a cold or warm sandwich or fries ! The Associates at this store always seem to be so nice and kind! Especially theyoung man who took my order today (fair sknned - dark curly hair - super kind and friendly). As far as the food and prices go Penn Station is exactly here like it is everywhere else.... So beyond that, I order online and... pick up carryout almost exclusively when I order from this location(it's by my house). My orders have always been correct andfresh and the staff is always quite nice. P.S.(see what I did there) They wait to drop the fries until you get there, whichsounds like an inconvenience but trust me, they are doing you a service. Wait the extra 3 minutes with a smile. Update on March 8, 2021 - In response to owner's reply, I did "tell them more about my visits" via the corporate link they... provided. All I did was post the review provided here. Why the actual owner of this Penn Station location did not give me anexplanation about their fries is beyond me. I guess they really do cook them they way I say below. i.e. fry them a secondtime to warm them up when a customer comes in. It takes 5 minutes on average to make my sandwich, so why they don't drop freshfries for my order into the frier is beyond me. Original review in February 2021 - Tasty Subs, Fries Terrible. I've eaten atthis one on Brownsboro ~15 times in last 6 months. I've had it with their fries. First, they seem over cooked, as if they weredropped back in the fryer a second time to make hot. Or maybe oil needs changing. Second, 75% of the fries you get are theselittle stub fries about 3/4 of an inch long. So short, it is difficult not to get ketchup on your fingers when you pick one up.I'll maybe try the place once more, but if no improvement, that's it. Read more
