I live in Austin, Texas and this is the closest you can come to real Tex-Mex comfort food. Can't understand any of the... complaints and bad reviews about price. Price has nothing to do with the great food served at Ramiro's. For the quantity,great presentation, and great taste - the price is just right. The only shortcoming has to be the chips. Texas chips arelighter and stronger to hold more guacamole per bite, but Ramiro's chips are great New Mexico style chips. Don't miss thisgreat restaurant if you are in Louisville. Read more
Went here for a quick bite and really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is open and inviting, plus the staff is great. Nice... variety of food items and drinks, so anyone can find something to enjoy. The queso is excellent and the street tacos weredelicious?I recommend trying the birria. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area but this is certainly one of thebetter ones. Read more

Excellent food and service. Price for portion is great. Tried a taco combo plate which was more than plenty. Each taco was... filled nicely. Beans and rice accompanied the dish. Asked for grilled jalapeños and onions. A good portion came out when Iexpected much less. Did not want it to go to waste. Also asked if they had a ?hotter? salsa. Let me tell you that hot salsaneeds a little caution flag :). Area is busy and parking might be an issue at busier times. Staff is polite and ready toaccommodate some asks. Wow, loved this place. The grilled chicken fajitas was so good. The chips and salsa was amazing. Mixed the hot and mild sauce... together. Greens Beans was really good! Our service was EXCELLENT! Our host was so down to earth and friendly and verytentative. Will be back. Read more
I had the best Brisket Tacos tonight. They were so delicious. A friend of mine actually pointed me to this place for dinner. His... food looked good and I know mine was. Steak tacos lacked flavor. The meat was well done but lacked flavor. Fish fajitas were good. If you compare the fish fajitas... with the place across, El Mundo, I'd prefer theirs. The music is too loud, food is below average. The saving grace is themargarita. So, if you want to have some drinks, stop by and enjoy salsa and chips. I liked their hot sauce.
