Right from the start, we had to wait for a waitress and waited behind a family. When we got to a table the waitress took good... care of us, considering there were five of us. The breakfast bar was very good and the salad bar was also very good. Read more

First time in several years we stopped here for the breakfast buffet... now I remember why. Service was horrible and the food... was barely edible. I asked, apparently, a super hard question while there today, "can I get some hot sauce please"... ourserver completely forgot, so we asked somoone else and was promptly forgotten again. I still tipped the server 20%, but damn,can't even get a coffee refill or some hot sauce? Read more
We stopped here for the first time after arriving from a flight at the Louisville Airport. They took some time to sit us down... and I understand we are short staffed everywhere so that's not the problem. After we waited the waitress decided to take anotherparty that had just recently arrived instead of asking who was there first. The man in that party tells her that we were firstthen she the proceeds to sit us. She took our drinks brought them and never came back to check on us except one time where myfiancee asked her to please get us some pancakes as there were none on the buffet and we had overheard the table behind usrequest them. She made a face as she was annoyed by his request and left the table. No acknowledgment or anything. Mind you shewas all smiles when the party behind us made the same request. When they bring us the pancakes there are just distorted piecesof pancakes not all round and fluffly like the ones they brought to the table behind us. (See picture for reference) I honestlydon't know why they gave us that like we were nobodies. We were PAYING CUSTOMERS, we were not eating there for free. Thewaitress job is to make sure that whatever she is bringing to the table at least looks presentably its the least she can do. Shenever came back to check if we needed refills to our drinks or not. But she sure refilled the table behind us. It was impossibleto get her attention as she just passed the tables as if she had somewhere better to be at. I don't know if they are racist hereor what but this is NOT how you treat customers that are bringing BUSINESS to you. And the food wasn't that good either to atleast say "well the food is good" but not the case. Needless to say we will not be back or recommend this to anyone! Read more

IMHO y'all missing a great deal of comfort food at Shoney's. I visited this location close to the airport SDF. Upon arrival and... all the way to leaving staff was friendly professional quick and attentive but not overwhelming. They let you eat peacefullyand enjoy your meal. Today was senior Tuesday, which means the AYCE buffet is at discounted price for everyone not justseniors! I went because I wanted a salad bar....but as you can see I enjoyed some fried chicken that was juice and crunchy.Plus a few other things. This is a great deal! Drink is included! Not sure why it is not fully packed on Tuesdays at the veryleast. The place is clean, parking is easy and with a buffet you get to eat very quickly. Grandpa takes care of business asdoes his whole team. I know I will be there often for the salad bar ????? Please tip your sever accordingly. They keep theplace inviting for all of us. Will not come back. Came around 12:30. Still had only breakfast out. 50% of food was cold. Server and hostess had attitude. Self... serve credit card machine almost forces you to tip. Service wasn't good enough for tip but still decided to give 10% of ticket.Server stood over me the whole time I paid and made a disrespectful face when I didn't tip more. Sorry not sorry.
