Just superb! And I'm vegan. I devoured the recommended Veggie Roll and added an Asparagus Roll on for fun and, wow, am I glad I... did! The rolls were simply filling and flavorful with nothing missing at all. I feel silly that I just found this quaint gemsince it's a stone's throw away. But, to make up for lost time, I'm already planning to return; the menu has quite a fewvegan/vegetarian options that I intend to try. Cheers to the chef/owner and the charming staff! Read more
The quality of fish was unbelievably good. I ordered the sushi deluxe and every single piece of nigiri was fresh and delicious.... It?s a small spot that?s hard to notice but if you want good, genuine sushi you have to try this place. Read more

Tokyo is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Their sushi options are amazing and have giant pieces of fish. If you?re a... non-sushi person, I?d definitely recommend the bibimbap-delicious. Came in and sat down right away after being greeted. Our server Milton was incredibly nice and brought our drinks shortly after... we asked. The appetizer Edamame grilled in soy sauce with garlic WAS AWESOME!! Had not seen that dish anywhere before. Thechicken yakisobe was fantastic as well.. It was so good I forget to even get a picture! I think this is the is the BEST sushi in Louisville. Tokyo is locally owned and operated. I have pictures from years of going... there. The food is fresh and the guys are great. Roberto and Victor work the sushi bar, which is where we always sit. Mydaughter loves to watch them make the rolls and they?re always so friendly. We love it here, you have to try the garlicedamame!! Excellent sushi and sashimi at a decent price. It?s not a big restaurant in but it?s a nice place for a romantic dinner. They... have a wide variety of sushi along with soups and other meals.
