We are originally from Louisiana and we?re excited to try this place. While the food is different that what I?m normally use to... (more tomato based dishes), the flavor of the food was great! The ambiance was wonderful and it?s in a great location. I?d beback to give some of the other dishes a try. We had the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, crawfish etoufee style dish (tomato based),and cornbread. That?s was some of the best cornbread I?ve had. The beignets were a little doughy, but had a good flavor. Thecoffee was delicious. Read more

Beautiful, but no flavor. Me and my wife the hush puppies, fried ravioli, and some kind of gumbo. The heat was there, but the... spices and flavor you would expect from this kind of food was entirely absent. I don't know how you can deep fry pasta and haveit taste like toasted bread, but that's what I got. The sauce was just cheese soup with a little bit of crayfish and tomato. Andthat's the kicker: I ordered the ravioli because I'm sensitive to most sea food. I ate the crayfish. I HATE crayfish. But evenafter noticing what it was, I tasted nothing. I ate the entire thing because I very hungry and there were only 8 raviolis inthe whole meal. I still ended up getting sick, but I never tasted anything but great value cheese and some tomato. My wifereported that the gumbo was disappointing, the cornbread was lacking salt, but the hush puppies were okay. I liked the hushpuppies, but I've never had them before now, so what do I know. If you really want to say you've had cajun food, but don't wantto expose your tongue to the extremes that authenticity can bring, this is the place you're looking for. Otherwise, if you'rejust a REALLY big fan of atmosphere, wait until inflation drops. It's far from worth the money. Read more

Mo Betta Gumbo has been downtown Loveland for many years. Best Cajun food around. Hush puppies are better than your average... hush puppy as they have cheese in them. Very flavorful. Oysters are excellent. Gumbo of course. Po Boys smothered in sauce orstanding on their own are always a favorite. Catfish blackened. Andoullie sausage. Fried chicken. Pasta Nawlins with sausage andcrawfish. All good. Would give them 5 stars but I had no shrimp in my Nawlins today. Last time my drink was all ice. Theyalmost hit the mark???????? They have an extensive liquor selection. Biggest selection of moonshine in town. If you like fruitydrinks try the Banana- rama. ????????????If you like berries do a Mo-Betta-Mamma. Careful or you won't be able to drivehome... 4story parking structure on the south side of the foundry is FRee. Live music too . The Foundry has other activities inthe center of the green. Very nice location. Read more

Fantastic food & service! We showed up Thursday night to lovely live music, and plenty of seating available. The staff was very... helpful, friendly and fast! The fried okra was a perfect balance of fresh okra with light batter and amazing dipping sauce ( wewere too hungry to get a picture before) my gumbo was amazing savory and great quality proteins. My friends loved their po boy &slap yo momma dish. I love that peppers were available at every table, on the way out we asked for some beads and the waitresskindly said help yourself. Overall super happy with this atmosphere, staff and great food. Read more

Well I must say, this place was a deliciously appealing surprise. On our first outing to Betta we had the fried green tomatoes,... the seafood gumbo and shrimp and grits. Everything was beyond our expectations. The gumbo was spicy and rich and full ofsucculent flavors and chunks of meat and seafood. The shrimp and grits, they were, they were so good. Yes I had to say it twice.Grits were creamy and delicious and the shrimp, nestled in to of that cloud of grid heaven, we're cooked to perfection andseasoned just right. What a great little gem in Loveland with great food and service. We'll be going back for sure. Read more

I only ever come here for the seafood gumbo. Good amount of spice and filling on a cold winter day. The fried okra came to our... table for free somehow, but we took it and it was amazing. Crunchy and no okra seeds! Our waitress recommended the bananasfoster and it lived up to the hype she created. It's diabetes on a plate but it was decadent and worth it. Read more
