We ordered the steak fajita burrito, chicken flouta, and the steak fajitas. The steak was CHEWY! I had to keep spitting the... steak out bc I couldn?t chew it up. Gross. Worst fajitas we've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. They gave us a beef flautainstead of chicken, but it was good and the queso was good too. But wow, so disappointed in our steak fajitas! MEXICO LINDO located in the small town of Lowell, IN on Commercial Ave., is a hidden gem. An authentic style Mexican restaurant... with feel good vibes all around. The restaurant cleanliness factor rates very good. I have yet to arrive & see undone or dirtytables. I cannot comment on the kitchen itself although a lot can be said from the dining area. The staff is veryaccommodating, friendly & quick to bring chip and salsa to the table. You are not left waiting to be noticed or place yourorder. The food is excellent & prepared timely. I love the whole-made guacamole .. some of the best I have tried. I usuallyorder the chicken & steak tacos which are made to order, satisfying & plentiful. Recently I ordered the Chimichanga Cheesecakedessert which did not disappoint. Price point is comparable to other similar venues with good food for your dollar. All in allthis restaurant is a win win .. the decor is colorful and matches the authenticity of its cuisine. I do recommend thisrestaurant for parties, family gatherings or simply a night out with friends. Read more

My family got takeout from here tonight, and it was by far some of the best Mexican food that we have all had. We tried a wet... chile rellenos burrito, the quesabarria dinner, and the combination dinner with a chorizo tostada, chiles rellenos, and chickentaco. I have avoided chicken tacos from Mexican restaurants for so long because the chicken is usually wet, but this was niceand perfectly seasoned and shredded. It wasn't even dry. The chorizo had great flavor, as did the chile rellenos. Thequesabarria was by far the best thing we ordered. The flavors were spot on. The rice even tasted delicious!! A bonus wasgetting the cutest bag of chips and salsa with our meals. Even Pepe's doesn't include free chips and salsa with takeout orders!!We cannot wait to dine inside and try out the drinks!! I drive 30 minutes once a month to eat at this tasty restaurant! I had the special one of my favorite dishes Menudo. The flavor... was delicious. The soup came with all the condiments. Onion, cilantro, lime, charged chile de arbor, and corn tortillas. My wifehad the steak with poblano peppers. She said it was fantastic, and I believe her too because she ate every drop. Our hostess waspolite and seated us immediately. Our waitress arrived with a smile took our drink order, and when she returned with our drinksshe took our order. The waitress brought our food promptly and it was hot steaming hot! She checked on us twice and refilled ourdrinks! Great Job Mexico Lindo! Read more
