This used to be a good place to eat. I have been coming here for many years. Recently it seems to be under new management (not... seeing the familiar faces) and taste of the food went down the drain. We ordered butter chicken and chicken manchurian - bothwere devoid of any taste. Chicken 65 was okay but nothing close to what it used to be. A sad end to a good place. Read more
Food is decent. But the customer service ????. I asked for a high chair and the guy brings it and places it on the walkway... nearest to me and not place it on our table. I was like 'seriously?' and he walked away, no f given. Read more
Veg Manchuria gravy is Terrible. Worst Manchuria, they soaked the 8 veg balls in bowl of soup that's not how one makes the veg... Manchuria even you ask for with gravy. spices are nil, only flavor is tangy, there is no garlic, no spring onions, not spicy atall. I regret ordering this. It is completely waste of money. Tried placing an order online, all information was correct and the order was still invalid error. We ordered takeout, garlic and cheese naans, vegetable samosa, chicken kabab, chicken tikka masala, goat vindaloo, and eral... varubal (shrimp). The online order system is broken so I had to call-in, which means the only coupon ($10 off $70 order) couldnot be used. The portion of the three curries are bit small for the price in my mind, but they are very tasty. Each hasdifferent layer of spices and heat. We had ordered chicken majestic to start with. Followed by spring dosa and Priya special chicken masala with garlic naan. The... appetizer, was nice and tasty. Spring dosa was just like masala dosa, not at all like how I expected it to be. Usually springdosa has a stuffing of veggies in a shezwan sauce but this was just yellow mashed potatoes with some carrot and onions. Thesambar and the red chutney was particularly very good. Sambar was thick and authentic with good flavors and a nice blend ofvegetables. The best dish of the meal was Priya special chicken curry with basmati rice and naan. The chicken was absolutelydelicious and the flavors were so rich and tasty, we totally loved it. Portion sizes are great as well. We finished with mangolassi which was cool and creamy and fresh. I have taken off one star for the service. We were seated for full 20-25 mins beforeanyone noticed us and served us water and gave us menus. We were on a tight time schedule so this attitude was a little annoyingfor us. Overall the food was great, will surely stop by the next time we are in Lowell. Read more
