Flat River Grill is in the beautiful historic district of Lowell. Nestled on the quiet banks of the Flat River this harvest... toned eatery is everything one could ask for in a single punch! The salsa is made in house and is phenomenal! The bread andoil has a fragrant flavor of spice and hard cheese that is well beyond the basic bread and butter table accompaniment. The porkdish was recommended by the server, there was one complaint, it requires a togo box for the leftovers! The risotto wasabsolutely incredible, the developed flavor, texture, and doneness were all on point. It made a great entrée with a proteinadded! Flat River went above and beyond to make minor preference tweaks to dishes and offers something for everyone! Theoutside dining has an incredible river view; however, we elected inside service due to the wait and it proved have a veryvintage feel which was welcomed! Love this place, good food! Didn?t expect to be treated that way by Dawn! Been ordering from here and supporting through the... pandemic: Still recommend I guess but I?m not sure I?ll spend my dollars here anymore. The issue is I was charged almost $23for some chicken scraps with fries and broccoli. We ordered the same thing here at least once a month for years. Treated liketrash by an overwhelmed manager over the phone. Called backed and was told they were backing her because I swore. I will ownthat, I dropped a swear word, but it was not directed at anyone. I used it in a sentence like I typically do. I apologized toher for that but it was already too late. I was treated so rudely, even as I was trying to tell them not to comp my meal. Badmanagement, but the bar tender there, John, best In Michigan! A few of the wait staff as well. I went in with my boyfriend and we were seated quickly. You have the choice of inside or out. Outside does have a waiting period... though. I recommend reserving a table if you want to guarantee sitting outside. We both ordered white chicken chili and it camewith a free bread appetizer. The bread was very nice and soft. It went well with the chili. The white chicken chili was alsodelicious. I'm definitely going to get it again. It was very flavorful. The service was also great and the server was a sweetyoung lady. I had the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was pretty good, but the sweet potato were really good. I also... had crème brûlée for dessert. It had been a long while since I had crème brûlée, and it was quite satisfying. Read more

Absolutely amazing. This was our 2nd time here and I would say the first time was excellent sitting outside on the patio but... this time was even better. The food was delicious. The brisket was cooked so perfect it melted in your mouth. The chicken chiliwas full of flavor and do not forget about the wood fire Flatbread the best appetizer ever.
