Went here for my wife's birthday. Not too busy and in a unique location just off the freeway. The chips were OK. They seemed... thick and maybe a little overcooked little overcooked the 1st batch we had. The 2nd was much better. We enjoyed the food. Server was great. I thought the size of my main entree. A burrito fundido. was smaller than I anticipated but it was fine. Wife's plate was an El Trio. With chicken, steak, and shrimp. It was plentiful. Read more

Beautiful atmosphere that keeps you, your family and friends close together without being on top of other customers. Prices are... a bit higher, but very reasonable considering the amount of food and the delicious taste. Salsa is top notch! I believe myfamily and I have found our new go to for Mexican food! I am new in the area and looking for new places to dine. Upon walking in I asked the gentleman at the counter for a togo menu... they had none then asked for their sanitation score and he asked “why”. Even though this was a common sense question. Theydid not have the score visible and he stated he would not tell me and he didn’t care. They are already breaking code with nothaving score available. They are apparently hiding that they are unclean Read more

I believe this is a fairly new restaurant operating out of a remodeled steakhouse. The dining area was clean, the staff were... pretty attentive and friendly, so let's talk about the food. I love burritos and the one they brought out was as big as theplatter on which it was served. However, it was covered in so much cheese sauce as to hide the relatively good flavor of theactual burrito. I'd suggest making the sauce optional, but at least cut back a bit. I ordered the "house" guacamole. Afteradding salt and pepper, it was edible. Do yourself a favor and just order the "fresh", which comes with "everything". I'd liketo return because I believe this place has potential, especially since it is ideally located right off of I-85. Read more

After a very long hot day at Carowinds our group of eight stopped by El Pancho Villa Mexican restaurant for dinner on our way... home back to Greenville South Carolina. The restaurant is very well organized clean meat and the decor was unique andinteresting. The art on the wall was fascinating. The Chimchanga was very good. They sat our group of 8 no problems. Therestaurant is very conveniently located just off Interstate 85, so we were able to be back on the road and no time. Therestaurant is located behind a gas station however, don't let that fool you, it is excellent. Read more

I visited Pancho Villa for the first time tonight. The service was great, place is nicely decorated, I am giving 3 stars ... because my carnitas was sooooo salty that I could not eat it ????. Salsa and chips were good. The rice and beans were good, nothing out of this world but for the price, it was ok. I had higher expectations specially since is a new restaurant in thearea. I like to cook and I believe that flavor should never be the salt but the spices ????. Read more

Came here with my wife to try out a New Mexican restaurant. The service was slow and unprofessional. Then when we were waited on... we felt like were were being rushed to make a decision. I ordered the chicken, steak and shrimp burrito. The waitress asked if Iwanted the lunch or dinner plate. The difference is the lunch came without the shrimp and the dinner came with the shrimp. So Ispecified I wanted shrimp in the burrito. There was no shrimp in the burrito. The waitress suggested the trio plate that camewith shrimp chicken steak veggies beans and rice to my wife so she got that. It took like 30 minutes. We got the food finallyand it looked ok but after a few bites it was dry, over cooked and under seasoned actually no seasoning @ all just the taste offthe grill. My wife said her lime margarita smelled like cat urine. We ended up not eating it and didn’t pay for the entrees. We won’t be back. Read more
