I was just lied to and given the worst excuse ever. a Subway sandwich shop that's attached to a Marathon gas station in Airy,... North Carolina... It's 72° out. literally one person getting a sandwich and I walked in and she told me they need to closebecause the food was wilting because their air conditioner was broken. First of all, I worked at Subway for 6 years. The coldfood is inside a cold bane. They can literally turn the temperature down so cold that it ices over. Secondly, even with the dooropen, it was rather cool inside the store. Now I can understand if they did not want to cook any bread because of the heat. Butshe didn't say they didn't have any bread, but I wanted a wrap anyway. If you want to close early, just close early. There's noreason to have all the excuses and lie. I'm sure corporate would love to know that your food is "wilting" in 72° ambienttemperature with the cold bane on. Read more
This is the worst subway I've ever had,charged me almost $13 dollars for an f long steak @cheese and a coke /bathroom was still... out of order I think it was last month too /won't be there ever again. SHAME ON YOU GUYS Read more

It could definitely use a "facelift", outside especially. The place is run down. Handwritten signs on the bathroom doors about... cleaning up if you put toilet paper on the seats. Problem solved: there wasn't any toilet paper! Slow service. Read more
I visited subway on 89 near brintles truck stop. The lady was very nice but practiced very poor sanitize standards. She was... sitting at a table, got up from the ya me after touching her phone and didn?t wash her hands but went straight for the gloves.As she?s finishing my sandwich she touches her phone again to tell the person she?s on the phone with To hold on, I had to tellher to change her gloves again after she touched her phone before she touched my sandwich again. If I could give zero stars, I would. My mom and I went in this afternoon just for two subs only to be disgusted and disrespected... by the one of the employees, not to mention the long service. This female employee started making our subs, during this time shewould get distracted by assisting another employee (a lot) and adjust her hair by touching her face and hair, without washingher hands afterwards. Okay. She comes back putting new gloves on, again not washing her hands, then uses her mouth to pull thegloves on and then proceeded by trying to prepare our sandwiches! We DID not like that! Who would have? That is completely andutterly disgusting! She tried to satisfy us by putting new gloves on, but she still didn't think to wash her hands aftertouching her face! So, my mom decided not to be serviced anymore and left. I stayed, because I had already opened a water bottlein line after waiting and waiting. During this time she started to bad mouth about what happened and making a scene in front ofeveryone. 1. That's inappropriate. 2. Disrespectful. 3. Unprofessional. 4. Just overall disgusting and unsanitary. If I werethe manager, I would have FIRED her! The customer is ALWAYS right no matter what! Absolutely horrible I?d give this place 0 stars if I could .. my meatball sub was absolutely disgusting! Cheese wasn?t melted... all the way and meatballs were still cold in the middle. I also got a dozen cookies that have probably been sitting for DAYS whoknows they were the hardest cookies I have ever gotten, I called to get fresh cookies and she said ok I went there 10 minuteslater to find they were closed due to ?short staff?. Which is fine I understand but don?t tell me ok to come by only to find outyou?re closed. Wasted my time money and gas at this horrible place. I?ve checked to get my cookies remade every day now they?vebeen closed for 4-5 days while there website says open. Very misleading. Read more
