Went by this location today for some late breakfast around 12:30p and got the worst server. Never seen her before and didn't... catch her name but she was the only black lady i saw in there. To start with she seemed to get irritated that I ordered smalland then before getting up it was like she just wanted to grab the plates off my table in a hurry. I went to put a tip on thetable and she told me to "bring it to her", then as I turned and left she made sure I heard her say "wooow.." Sometimescustomers can't afford much but when i leave you generous tip and you act like that, I really have an issue with that. Sat down and been waiting for 15 minutes. And two tables sat down after us and we're severed silverware and drinks. We almost... left until she asked us what we were drinking after waiting 15mins. She then toook our order. Didn't give straws. Finally gavesilverware (had food on it) and then when we placed our order she said she couldn't guarantee it anytime soon or at all althoughthe cook wasn't even cooking anything. After finding out Hardee?s didn?t open until 4, and Burger King service was TERRIBLE, Waffle House was our last resort. Third... time was a charm! Even though only two ladies were working, they apologized for the extra time. We?ve patronized many WAFFLE Houses across the south some clean and some not so clean, as some would say it Waffle House. We... had intended to go McDonald?s but decided Waffle House. As we entered we noted a van of patrons getting ready to enter and ayoung man trying to hold booths for 15 people (wrong place). This didn?t go over well so the two older ladies decided to do togo orders. As we sit at the counter we noted the well managed and put together team as everyone knew what to cook, how to cookand what to do as a TEAM in this Waffle House. Our food was hot and just as we ordered. The manager was calling orders andgetting people in and out quick and fast. Back to the van of people they learned you can?t hold booths for 15 and decided on togo orders. Once orders were ready the young gentleman said he was paying?but once he learned the total he went outside andnever returned neither did the two older ladies who placed the orders. I could see the frustration on the manager face. I feltthe hurt also as that order for 15 turned into wasted food. My idea change the policy have customers pay for to go orders asthey take the order. Didn?t want to take our order, then lady kept rolling her eyes, we only had an order for 2 people. Said they don?t do togo... orders and they didn?t get a single thing on the order correct. Asked for no cheese on a burger and I got extra cheese, and thenno fixings for the burger (lettuce tomato). Nothing in my hash browns when I asked for everything.
