Best Mexican place in Lubbock! Every time we come to town, OTB is the place we go to satisfy our Tex-Mex fix! As an appetizer,... we stick to the chips and salsa?they are always super fresh and tasty. My go to order is chicken fajitas. However, this time Iwanted to add shrimp to the order. I misspoke and said steak instead of shrimp (I didn?t know I said steak until my husbandconfirmed it ???????????). No big deal though, I love steak! So when the manager, Ashton, came over to see how everythingtasted, I told him it all tasted amazing! I also explained to him that I wanted to try the shrimp (because I heard the shrimp isamazing) but I got steak instead (which was also amazing!). I reiterated that it wasn?t a big deal and I will be sure to orderit the next time we come in. Ashton apologized for the mix up (which he shouldn?t have because I messed up my order to beginwith!) He said he would be right back?a few minutes later he came back to us and gave me some of the best grilled shrimp I?vehad in a long time! That was so sweet of him to go above and beyond to make this little old lady feel special! We also had afew drinks at the bar. This was a 5 star for our family to dinning until tonight. We went here for dinner a family of 5 because the parking lot had... maybe 4 cars and had front door parking. We walk in the hostess was very rude and told us it would be 20 to 30 minute wait. Weasked why and she said because our big table was takin. We asked to put two tables together and she snapped and said we can't dothat, we only have 2 servers. The restaurant had only maybe 12 to 15 people inside. First off when I walked in there was a lot of seating. The atmosphere was wonderful, the waitress were kind and had a smile on.... I got a mango iced tea. The first cup was watered down, the second had too much mango, and the third had a lot of sugar. I had acombo play with my choosing I got an enchilada, a chili rellano, a tamala, and empanadas. The enchilada tasted like it hadcanned chili. The chili rellano had really plan cheese. The tamala was good little dry though. And the empanada was good.
