200 year old inn. I must add, I grew up in a 200+ year old home, so that ambiance is lost on me. Don't know how to feel about... having to haul heavy suitcases up very narrow staircase. Owner seemed a bit arrogant. Dinner started with dirty wine glasses, followed by breakfast with lipstick stained water glasses. We were stuck in a corner for breakfast and forgotten about for 30minutes until hubby flagged waitress down. Room was so-so, with stained quilt, noisy fridge, peeling wallpaper, peeling lino inbathroom, questionable cleanliness, including hairs in the corner of the bathroom and ceiling fan with a good layer of dust onthe blades. Windows had ill fitting A/c units that opened to the outside and tons of ladybugs buzzing around the room. I'msure there are plenty of folks who find this quaint. Having grown up in an historic home, I definitely do not. Read more

Beautiful venue, excellent service We got married at Echo Lake Inn October 2021. The venue was beautiful and it was a truly... special day. We, and all our guests, had a fantastic time. It was very convenient to have the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, andSunday brunch at one location. Our guests really appreciated being able to stay on-site and having use of the full property allweekend. Tom and his team facilitated what was most important to us ? getting to share time and make memories with our family. When we booked the venue, I was originally concerned about having our wedding in a tent. I?m so glad that didn?t stop us - thetent is very sturdy, comfortable temperature, and is decorated with a sophisticated feel. Tom and his team were very helpful inhelping us coordinate all aspects of the wedding and giving us ideas. We had some untraditional requests, and Tom and his teamwere accommodating in making our wedding wishes a reality. Read more

Absolutely wonderful relaxing place to retreat to! I've had the most peaceful sleep of my life here and even got to do a bit of... fly fishing in the creek just across the street. The staff is a pleasure to interact with. They served a delicious breakfast ina cozy intimate dining room. I can't stress enough that the food is fantastic!!! The food alone made the visit worth it 10xover. There's a tennis court and pool but I spent most of my time chatting with family and enjoying nature. Read more

Stayed there in the winter for a ski trip. Amazing for a romantic getaway. The staff is like family and every night we?d grab a... drink and head downstairs for pool and darts. The breakfast was freshly handmade every day and the dinner was the best in town. The room was a bit small and old fashioned but that added to the coziness of the inn. Read more

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms and common areas are old but meticulously clean. We stayed in the... Tyson Suite and it was perfect for four people (two adults and two kids). The innkeepers make sure your stay is pleasant. Therestaurant at the inn is also five stars and it had the most delicious food we had in a long time. It is close to the skislopes, the Spring House where you can use the gym and pool with a daily pass and many local hikes. There is a reason the innhas been in business for over 200 years and the current owners are ensuring that it continues to offer a world class experience. Read more
