I got a bean burrito (beans and cheese) with queso on top. It was pretty good, the beans were a little spicy but otherwise very... nice. EDIT: We have gone back twice since this review, and won?t be going a third time. We ordered curbside both times, and the food... was nowhere near the quality of quantity of our first visit. The tacos had approximately 1 tablespoon of fatty meat on crumbledstale tortillas. $18 for three tacos, no salsa, no chips, they were pathetic. We gave it one more try a month later, sameresult. I think they have cut costs and therefore quality due to COVID. I left them with two starts because the first visit wasso good. The last two would get one. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, great staff. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant inLufkin. I had the El Pastor (pork) street tacos with charro beans. My husband had the shrimp soup. Both were wonderful. The soupis such a large portion (we could have shared it) and had around 20 nice size shrimp. This is just the normal order, you havethe option of adding more shrimp if you?d like. The restaurant was very clean, warm chips and salsa were served immediately, andthe margaritas are lovely.They also have a long list of weekday lunch specials around $6 (didn?t apply to our weekend visit).
