Surprisingly good restaurant in a very unusual building. The other diners were, largely, an older crowd, so this would be a... great place for a peaceful dinner without the distraction of loud noise and partiers. Incredibly knowledgeable service members, really friendly staff, and an owner that loves his business and staff and... customers. The food is delicious, the cook(s) get orders perfect, and the presentation is delightful. The ambiance is nice andromantic, yet works well for friendly dinners and/or work meetings. I've never been dissatisfied with anything or anyone fromManhattan, and I highly recommend them. Read more
I was so excited to host my graduation dinner here… Little did I know, Outback would’ve been a far better option. We spent a... lot of money here, feeding five people is not cheap here. Our food was awful. The chef could not cook a steak to save his life.I ordered a rare prime rib, I received a well done one. I hate sending food back but this was too expensive to not get acorrection. Two other steaks were sent back for the same issue, incorrect temperature. The second round of corrected steaks hadobviously been washed and re coated with spice. This spice was so hot, not like the mild spice on the first steaks, that mymother and I could not eat them. We just wanted a meal we could eat at that point. The chef came and talked to our table andmade excuses about the cut of meat, never apologized or acknowledged the mistake. I don’t really know why he even came to ourtable. Management acknowledged how bad the steaks were cooked but offered no real resolution, only excuses. The whole experiencewas a very expensive mistake. If you have a special event, I would not book here. Way too expensive for a steak that wouldn’tpass outback’s quality check. Read more
Not a place I'll be running back to. The food was "okay", service was good, but none of it was "fine dining". Decor and design... is VERY dated and cluttered, bar selection is very limited. COVID can be blamed for some things, I'm sure, but frozen foodshould NEVER be included in anything being called fine dining. The salad was the only thing I had that had not been frozen. Theexperience was friendly but also disappointing since Lufkin could use some true fine dining. Read more

Excellent food for Lufkin, fast friendly service decent prices. This would be a three star restaurant in other parts of the... world but definitely five star for Lufkin. Still good food at a good price will definitely go back. UPDATE: January 2022,Unfortunately I had to downgrade this restaurant from 5 star to ONE. I went in on my Birthday and was yelled at across the roomby the manager. I did not eat that night. Unfortunately the owner was not in that night I don't know where they found thismanager but he really really needs to go!!! He is RUDE. Read more
