So good. We ended up here because our first plane leg was delayed and we ended up missing our second leg out of Houston so we... rented a car to drive the rest of the way to Louisiana. Thrown together and uninspired. I love Cajun cuisine and this place seems like they read about it in a book and tried to emulate... what they think Cajun seasoning and flavor palate taste like. The reliance on the deep fryer for most of the menu is telling. Ialways leave here feeling full of grease and knowing what I had could have been so much better if it had just been prepared witha little more care and a little less grease. Read more
I normally am not one to leave a review especially not a negative one, but I feel so strongly about this place and I hope that... my review could stop another average person like myself from wasting their hard earned money. The food was nothing short of godawful. The quality that this place produces is what I?d expect if Wendy?s had opened a steak and seafood menu. I paid almost$200 for less than fast food quality, granted this is my own fault for walking through the door. If this place is what isconsidered ?high end? then McDonalds should have 5 Michelin stars. The lobster was over cooked and very burnt. The steak tastedlike it came from one of those 20 for $20 steak trailers. The fried shrimp was okay but I would much rather of ate long Johnsilvers. We waited for 45min all the while my clear view in the kitchen all I could see was workers standing around and talking,I don?t mind waiting at all if what I get is worth the wait. We stopped to eat at Ralph & Kacoo?s and Matt was spot on with the oysters. We love the Parmesan & Garlic, but all we sampled... were delicious. We sat at the bar and Megan was great also. Good service and food, we will definitely return. Read more
This was literally the BEST seafood I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! They didn't even try to act like we needed sauces to make it... better, they already knew we didn't! *add cocktail or tarter sauce if you'd like, we didn't even need the lemon slice.. thecatfish was the best I've ever had, even better than catching one myself and cooking it!! 25/10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They doeverything fresh and cooked to order! And the Alligator tacos were absolutely delicious! I'm from Florida and South Mississippiand wish we could go back here again! The food was excellent. The oysters we cooked perfectly. Had the 8 sampler and the Ralph platter.
The reviews were very mixed so I wasn't sure if I really wanted to try it. However, I really enjoyed the Mahi. Etoufee was okay... but was lacking on qty and size of crawfish. Read more
