I've heard so many good things about this place I decided to stop. Was I disappointed! I only got about 15 or so small shrimp,... plus they were really greasy. The fried oysters were good and so were the fried scallops. The fish filet had tons of bones init. Needless to say I will be passing on by my next visit to Lumberton. Read more

The hush puppies are amazing. I?m from Philadelphia, and I?ve never had hush puppies before. But the Village Seafood and BBQ... will forever be my reference for what a hush puppy should taste like. They are not greasy, sightly sweet, tender, and light. Sofreaking good. The fried chicken is delicious ????. The fried flounder is delicious. The barbecue pork is delicious.
