Always stop at a Waffle House in NC. The staff were super friendly, funny, and helpful. Food came out quickly and was delicious.
Very clean. Walked in and the servers say Hi with smiles. Lumpy grits but tasty. My hubby didn't like the sausage, I did and... they were hot. My eggs, over medium were cooked perfectly! And the waffles??? The waffles tasted the best. My Hubby couldn'tstop talking about them. The shoestring hashbrowns are nothing to write home about. They are the same as when they startedserving them, 12 years ago. Our Server kept up with our conversation and was very attentive with us and her cooks/staff. Usually it is a good place to eat. But this visit the floors were nasty, table wasn't cleaned properly and they had no coffee.... Their coffee maker was broken. Had coffee all over the counter and floor in the cooking area. And the waitresses were justdownright lazy and hateful. Read more

FANTASTIC! EXCELLENT food, and service! We enjoyed our experience so much we went here twice making a point to return on our way... back from Florida, nearly an incident of Rd rage as we got lost finding it the 2nd time(5/17)! We were treated with the southernhospitality & kindness one might see in movies however it's just how they are! Lovely, caring, kind, hardworking folks who takea personal interest in how you are and any need you have. Once you're in the door you're family & for the weary travelers wewere on both occasions that week our "cups" ran over? (The coffee was AMAZING!) P.s We LOVE WIMPY! Read more
