We were passing through Lumby yesterday and needed some darn lunch. It was a beautifully sunny day and I couldn't do a dark pub... so I saw Millie's Kitchen on the road and we doubled back. Best decision we've ever made. The room is lovely and cheerful. I hadthe feature poutine with a VERY generous helping of bacon and sausage on it. So good. My buddy had the cheeseburger with adelicious housemade burger patty. They hand cut their fries in house so the fries were heaven. We were served by Audrey, theowner. As a server myself, I really appreciate and admire good service. And Audrey was the best server I've had in years. Solovely and engaging. Now I gotta come back up this way again in future years to try her desserts as well! Read more

I?ve eaten everywhere in Lumby, many times over, and this is by far the best place in town! Nowhere else compares. The lady here... is so kind-hearted and provides the heartwarming feel of the olden days. Millies kitchen has the feel of a loving home, thanksto that lovely lady. I?d tell you her name, but I want you to find out for yourself. Enjoy! The price, some may find, is a bitexpensive, but her service makes up for it (and then some). Read more
Excellent fish & chips, non greasy, lightly battered. Homemade fries, cooked to perfection. We decided to stay for desert, their... pumpkin spiced cheese cake was light & fluffy, great smooth taste & the sticky Carmel cake with ice cream, was moist, flavourful& hot.
