I had an exceptional time at the Boardwalk. The ambience was great with the live jazz band playing on Friday night. The patio is... really nice and I love the artisan made furniture. The menu is 90% local seafood and everything was super fresh and delicious.The calamari was especially good. The main dish is local fish and chips, and I chose the halibut with hot and crispy crust.Can't say enough good things about the awesome vibes sitting down on the water overlooking the harbour at sunset. I adore the fish and chips from Boardwalk, but have been here more than a few times to find they are closed despite both their... website and google listing showing the open hours as 12-8pm and closed Wednesdays. Arrived today (from well out of town on aroad trip) only to find a sign taped to the end of the wharf saying they?re only open from 6-10pm. I can appreciate times aretough and hours of operation can be affected by a number of things, but keeping online info current would be helpful, especiallyfor travellers. Read more
We enjoyed great fish & chips, tacos, and lamb burger while listening to a local guy play guitar and sing some Leonard Cohen... classics. Very nice... with the sun setting over the Salish Sea being a bonus. Read more
I went in today with my mom and daughter. I had the best seafood fettuccine I have ever had (and I have had a lot). My mom had... some amazing fish and chips and my daughter had her favorite chicken strips and fries. She also had a great time playing withthe games they had.
