We had the best food that we had in Nova Scotia at this particular restaurant. And we just found it when we were walking down... one of the main streets in Lunenburg. He serves five courses, and you have choices for four out of the five courses. The foodwas innovative and beautifully presented, but it was also quite delicious. My husband absolutely raved about the wild mushroomtacos, I think he could have had three plates of those if he had been allowed to do so. I loved the broccoli tempura that wasthe first course. Perfectly cooked, with a wonderful flavor and lovely little accompaniments on the plate. My favorite dish wasmy main course, which was pan-seared headache with ginger butter on a bed of black rice. Everything about this dish wasdelicious. They have very nice cocktails, and I ended up getting the rhubarb spritz just because it was a hot day. But actuallywas a lovely cocktail. My husband had a whiskey-based one that he also said was quite tasty. They also have a lot of nice winesby the glass. This is a small restaurant, it's beautifully appointed, the tables are well spaced from each other, and theservice was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Lunenburg. Read more
We had a wonderful dinner at Lincoln Street Food. Everything we ordered was amazing. We had awesome drinks with spirits from the... local microdistillery. The staff was very friendly and we even had recommendations from the chef for other food destinations onour trip in Nova Scotia. This restaurant is a must-go in Lunenberg. What a lovely evening we had last Saturday! Each course was carefully prepared, seasonal, sustainable, balanced and so tasty. ... Who knew mushroom tacos could taste so good, I'm still thinking about them. The service was excellent and you can tell thefellow that owns this sweet little gem of a restaurant really cares that you enjoy your evening--which we did, immensely. Great food and good service. Totally unexpected and a great change from all the local maritime seafoods we had on our trip. ... Early sitting saw us with the place to ourselves. The bouillabaisse was full of flavours and tender seafood. Great use of otherfoods from the sea and unique pairings for the sides and salads. Would come often if we lived in the area. Read more
