A Baltimore Institution indeed. Had a delightful weekend lunch here. Delicious cream of crab and Maryland crab soups. Large,... fresh salads. Crispy fries and lump crabcake. Only downsides were that it took a long time (~15 minutes after we were seated forour server to first come to our table) and the Bloody Mary was watered down. Read more
We came in for our annual family February birthday celebration with a party of seven. It was a Saturday night and the place was... packed. The food was great and much improved since my boyfriend and I ate there a few years ago. Everyone stated that theyreally enjoyed the food, including comments that the chicken pot pie and gumbo and french onion soup were they best they everhad. I would have rated Valley Inn as a 5-star but the service was disorganized and slow, although our waiter was very pleasant.I only took pics of 2 apps because it was so long before we got our third app and meals that we were starving so I didn'tbother. Such a lovely place. Truly feels like Christmas Day but year round! Absolutely terrific service and the food is just as amazing.... Lovely time with the kids for weekly brunch! **not pictured* BUT their buttermilk pancakes are absolutely divine ???????? servedwith maple butter, maple syrup and the most delicious berry compote. Always a delight to go to the Valley Inn. Their outdoor seating is like a dream. It's beautiful and spacious. Beautiful lights... and plants add the whimsical atmosphere. The last time we went there was even a bonfire! The staff is always kind. I've neverhad bad service and we have been there quite a bit. The food is always delicious. I highly recommend the brownie sundae if youwant something sweet. It's fantastic. Read more
Stopped in today on a whim and had a fantastic time. Our Leo look-alike bartender, really took care of us. The drinks, food,... service; everything was great! Not to mention, they do have the best outdoor seating in the area! Plenty of bar seating andcovered tables for larger parties. Inside, there’s semi-private, bar and covered patio seating. Will definitely be back forfootball specials- and then some! Read more
First time here. Only went for drinks at the bar to meet friends. Very friendly bartending staff who were attentive and quick on... the draw. Crowd was lively and energetic. Loved the inside decor and the live music. Would definitely like to return for dinnerone evening. Read more
