Edit: getting better! I got the steak fajitas for lunch the other day and everything was cooked correctly and it was flavorful.... The service still needs some work, but a definite step in the right direction. ??? The service was terrible. I stood at thefront waiting to be seated for a long time. The waiter rarely checked on me and I waited to pay for almost 10 minutes. The foodwas terrible. The salsa had no flavor other than giant chunks of raw onion. The fajitas were terrible. This is the best Mexican food we've found in the area. Service was great, the food was delicious and the margaritas were... perfect! The interior is decorated nicely so the whole place has a good vibe. Also, they played Bob Ross the whole time, whichhonestly is just fantastic. Read more
First thing to address is that this is no longer Vallarta?s. It?s San Jose Mexican Restaurant. We know Vallarta?s is great, so... when we discovered the change as we arrived, we were cautious but gave it a shot. The people are very friendly. Food wasdisappointing.
