The food is really good and the portions are big and worth the price. The only negative part of the experience was the waiter... seemed really angry and would barely check in. When they did, they seemed annoyed if we asked for something. That was a littleweird but it could've just been a busy night. Overall recommend for some good sushi and fry. Read more
Not a great first experience at Zukkusan. I placed a to go order at 11am (opening time) to hopefully beat the lunch rush. The... staff said 15 to 20 on the phone. I arrived at 11:40 to give them extra time. When I arrived, the host (also the person who tookthe phone call) told me one of the items I wanted wasn't available. I would have appreciated a callback to let me know insteadof waiting until I had arrived. The food wasn't ready when I arrived. I asked how much longer it would take, the host informsme they have to both pack the food and seat people so it will take time but the food is ready. It seems a bit inefficient andnot sanitary. I figured it shouldn't take too long to pack the food. It wasn't until 12:15 when I got my food and thetemperature was lukewarm. The host said it was their fault because they couldn't find the food. The host was nice and maybe theywere new. But there was SIX people in the back. I can't understand why no one else could help pack the food. I asked to speakto the manager but the manager wasn't present, only a lead waitstaff member. As for the food itself, I got the hibachi wok andit was pretty greasy. The fried rice was pretty average and salty. The dumplings were good but perhaps all of it would have beenbetter if it were actually hot. I also got the MYO Poke Bowl and Sushi Bento Box. These were pretty good and presentation wasgood. Honestly, these saved the meal. I really wanted to like this place but this wasn't the best visit. Perhaps another timedown the road. Read more
No grill tonight only the Sushi bar open. Crab Rangoon is awesome. Nice decor. No yum yum sauce made it three stars
Awesome experience! Seven of us went to celebrate my daughter’s 18th bday (she chose the place) and it was great from... beginning to end. Our server was very attentive, appetizers and food were delish and atmosphere and decor is very cool. We hadthe Picasso and Sunset roll (pictured) after enjoying spring rolls and garlic edamame - all a win! And if you’re not a sushifan, they have a great menu with tempura and noodle dishes (as my 15 year old son enjoyed thoroughly). A manager even stoppedby our table to make sure all was great. Modern, decor for an Asian fusion restaurant. Started out with hot water poured over hand cloths. Nice touch. Miso soup was... tasty. Food was all quality and nice presentation. Portions average. I've had their food for pick-up but this was the first time I got to dine in. I like the atmosphere as it's actually a lot nicer... inside than you would expect from a restaurant within a shopping center. Our server, Mark, was very pleasant and attentiveespecially with our needs since we had a toddler with us. The food was really good and I definitely recommend all the dishespictured. Read more
