Great service! The food was very good, jalapenos were fresh and hot. The fried chicken was well made and not soggy with the... tomato and jalapenos. The drys could use some seasoning but were got and good with the ketchup. The soda and water we orderedcame in large cups so you get a great volume that you pay for. Read more
Unable to actually review because we left about 10 minutes after our arrival. We (and 2 other parties) waited for a host who... never appeared. We assumed Macado's was short-staffed, which didn't seem conducive to a pleasant, full-service meal. We enjoyedgood service at Macado's in the past when people wanted and needed to earn a paycheck. Macado's bills itself as a neighborhood bar. It plays out more like a twist on Applebee's or O'Charley's. We were trying to... decide which building it used to be. The decor has been changed so that almost every bit of wall space is covered with quaintphotos and Liberty University memorabilia. Jade welcomed us brightly and seated us, taking our drink orders right away. That's anice service touch. The fare is mainly sandwiches and burgers, with a section of wraps and appetizers. It's mostly bar foodoriented food. The portions are huge, too, so consider sharing. Two of us ordered burgers, which were big and tasty. We had thechips and onion rings. The onion rings were excellent. Good, flavorful onions and a crispy batter. The Reuben sandwich wasreported to be a little flat in taste, but was helped tremendously by the horseradish aoli, which was requested on the side. Ihad the Irish Nachos. This was a gigantic serving of nachos--chili, lettuce, black olives, cheese sauce, and jalapenos--butserved on a bed of the chips. They did not seem to hold up as well as tortilla chips might have, and were overall a littlebland. The chili was not spicy. On the whole, all the dishes seemed to favor portion extravagance over flavor. It didn't tastebad, but it did nothing to distinguish itself from any other place that might offer the same things. There's a long list ofsandwiches with enough variety to satisfy any group or party. They have Coke products, and a full bar which we did not samplefrom this visit. Macado's deserves a couple more visits to sample a few sandwiches. Read more

Would describe as a sports bar. They have a digital juke box that I have never seen before. Our waitress was great. We all... enjoyed our food. My issue was that it took 1 hour to get our food. We had movie tickets so by the time we got the food had toeat very fast. Indigestion during my movie. Read more
The food was Delicious overall with my large Group. The Young Man was Polite knowledgeable of Many items on the Menu and checked... back with us and brought extra Napkins/ Refills. The Memorabilia from the Simpsons Displays to the Sign ???? Memorabilia was funto look at. I hope to see him there when I come back in the later in the summer Read more
