I stopped in on a Friday for the first time last week on a whim. Good food and the bartender (I think her name was Connie) was... attentive and friendly. A welcome change from the often rude and dismissive attitudes one can encounter in a lot of the areabars. Will be returning. Read more

Place is a nice spot to go to. They have a nice selection of wines and beers but when you come to 503 you have to see Connie.... She is a bartender that works Wednesday through Friday. She makes you feel at home and can have a conversation with anyone. Shealways makes sure you enjoy your night no matter how bad it is. Really great hidden gem in Lyndhurst! Solid food options and great service from the bar. It is a smaller place so its not overly... loud but bigger enough that you arent rubbing elbows with other patrons. Great stop for a quick meal and drink at anytime of theday! Read more
Excellent version of an old school Italian restaurant and bar. Can order food from guiseppies and drinks from the bar, you... actually get two separate checks. We happened to eat at the bar since it was Saturday night and crowded. Service and food fromnext door were both excellent. I had the squid ink fettuccine with shrimp and scallops it was outstanding. Had a great experience coming into this local Lyndhurst bar. The manager was great and even though they were doing last call my... friend and I were still greeted graciously. They drinks were excellent and the chips provided by the fun and kind manager wenta long way. Will definitely return to try more drinks and I kept hearing how great the adjoining restaurant is.
