Jamie tried to help my mom order. He suggested this salad with chicken ???? on it. She didn't like it at all. She paid foe the... chicken she ate and he was nice enough to remove the cost of the salad. Toasted cheese sandwich ???? I ate was just so so, tomuch thick bread ???? not enough cheese. The wedge , wings, voodoo pasta, and chocolate cake were all good. The lone star strawberry lemonade was good as well. The... problem was the service ..I don't know if they were understaffed but I know they had our server Precious working a party in theback as well so it took forever to order additional food and get refills.. Then we headed up going to another party in the backroom for a family reunion dinner and found out the menu was limited to the late night menu and they had run out of items likecalaramar..then we had the same issue with getting drinks and refills Read more
Friday night dinner. Bar was moderately busy. My husband and I wanted to watch the Stanley Cup Finals so we asked for a table... near a TV. Lo and behold no channel they got Carried the game! The bartender went ABOVE AND BEYOND to call the service providerand get the channel for us! Food was excellent. My burger and tots (pictured) were flavorful and plentiful. Our server was nicebut a bit abrupt. She knew we were there to watch the game for the duration but dropped the check before we'd even finished ourmain, not asking if we wanted dessert or another drink. She would have definitely left money on the table had we not waited herout and ordered more (we think she was taking her break and that's maybe why she dropped the cheque). Intriguing menu so we headed over from the Hyatt to grab a bite and watch the Tampa/Colorado hockey game. After being seated,... told that they couldn't bring in the game. At this point, we were preparing to leave. Marissa was working the Bar and came tothe rescue. She worked some magic finding our game!! Prestious was our server. We indicated we were not in a rush and orderedour drinks along with the deep fried pickles. She was very helpful assisting us in our selections. We ordered more drinks, theHome made burger with loaded tots, and the Voodoo Jambalaya. Again, we indicated not in a rush. We had wanted to settle in forthe game. The restaurant was not busy. All the food was awesome, came out quickly, and the bill was dropped at the table. Whatabout dessert and more drinks?? Money was definitely left on the table tonight. We are two hospitality professionals that haveworked within the industry for many years. Our hope is that someone will take the time to assist a potentially great employee onhow to read a table. Zero Stars is what?s deserved. Today, for the first time, I ordered ?Take Out? from Bar Louie?s through a delivery service, but... this issue is the merchant?s fault and not the delivery service. I ordered a Meatloaf Grilled Cheese, and after taking a bite, Irealized that I was not eating meatloaf, but instead an overcooked breaded chicken grilled cheese. Obviously, I was given thewrong sandwich, but the sandwich or grilled cheese looked nothing like the picture on the menu. Who?s responsible for preparingthese meals? Obviously, no one is paying attention to orders because meatloaf and chicken are two different proteins. What if Iwas allergic to chicken? Also, when ordering online, loaded fries and loaded tots should specify the food items that will beused instead of having customers assume or guess. They could be loaded with anything or something someone is allergic to. Read more
We came in on a Tuesday and Wednesday night with a large group. They had a skeleton crew and the entire restaurant was packed,... thirsty and hungry after 9 pm. The bartender (Marissa) was managing the bar and the restaurant alone, and did a great jobmanaging orders and people. A few people did wait a bit but any reasonable person would understand why. I was visiting from out of town, so to stop by and grab a quick bite to eat was great. The location was very nice. I enjoy Bar... Louie, but they changed around the menu and got rid of the Pot Stickers. Other than that, I really enjoyed my Buffalo Chickenpizza. ???? ????. Read more
This location gave me a welcome like I?ve been a regular for years. The introduction from the bartender to the drinks indulged... creating unforgettable memories! Marissa the bartender was engaging and eager to give positive energy. A place I expected tospend thirty minutes extended to hours. The hospitality was unmatched, expectations through THE roof.
