It was ok. My salmon needed to be cooked a little more. Didn't have a great taste.
My family and I went to Burntwood Tavern for the first time to celebrate our son’s 20th birthday. When I made the reservation... on the OpenTable app I put down that we were celebrating a birthday but none of the employees mentioned it. I figure why ask onthe app about special occasions if no one mentions it. For our reservation we chose to be seated at a booth and I was happy itwas available when we arrived seeing as though they were pretty busy for a Saturday night at 5:30pm. Our waitress, Paula, wasnice, helpful with food choices and kept us updated on the status of our meals. The food was slow coming out (probably becauseof how busy they were) but they probably should staff accordingly for a Saturday night. Food reviews from everyone at our table:We all enjoyed the Firecracker Shrimp. The Burntwood Burger with egg over hard was really good and cooked right. The TortelloniCarbonara was good but salty. The Sirlion (not pictured) with red wine demi and the potatoes were all salty. The Sirloin wassupposed to be cooked medium but it was cooked medium well closer to well done. Stopped by the Lyndhurst location on the way home. I've ordered delivery from this location many times and eaten at another... location before. We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer which I didn't think would travel well for a delivery dish. It wasdelicious and I maintain that it probably wouldn't be as good delivered 15 minutes later. For an entree I ordered the pecancrusted trout which included a more than generous portion and was perfectly prepared. Again I don't think it would have traveledas well for delivery. My wife had the Tortolini which she said was good but she felt it needed something else. The service wasgood for a Thursday evening and the wait staff were friendly. Definitely worth the visit. Come see Frank, he was our waiter, excellent guy, very knowledgeable about the restaurant. We came for lunch so it wasn't... crowded, the chefs were on point with the cooking, the price point was great, you don't mind spending the money if the food isexcellent! Absolutely perfect experience. I had an organizational luncheon on their enclosed patio. It was perfect. The service was... exceptional. The waitress was great. We had the patio reserved for just our group and our speaker could easily be heard. Thefood was great. The cheesecake slice was enormous and fresh. Jenn, the mgr, made the whole event go perfectly. One of my new favorite restaurants! Great food, excellent service, awesome atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. The bar is also... very nice with a variety of good drinks. They have a real fireplace that gives the restaurant a wonderful smell right when youwalk in. It’s located right off the interstate, so it’s easy to get to. Read more
We got burgers and fries which were very good and HOT. Our server Edith was efficient. I did however have an issue with the... sugar caddy which from the looks hadn't been cleaned in quite sometime (maybe pre- pandemic). Overall I would recommend givingthem a try. Read more
