We were really excited to stumble across this gem. My daughter wanted to try something new since we don't have a wide variety of... options in our hometown and I'm so glad she did. The tilapia has a wonderful flavor. The afro chicken and lamb were great, theonions were heavier on the vinegar than we like but that is just a personal preference. I would highly recommend trying thisgreat small business. We placed our to go order there and it was ready within 15 minutes. Read more

Food is great. But! We saw saliva flying into the food while the workers chatted away as they cooked and packaged the food. They... don't wear any food service required protections. So we don't go anymore. Read more

If only I?d taken pix of this sweet family?s fab food! Next time; as we were with a large group & they got our orders right & no... one had to wait longer than anyone else - a challenge they easily met. Try anything, it?s all delish! If new to African cuisine,go w/ an open mind & let them recommend dishes. But if you don?t ????fried plantains; can?t help you! ???? Read more

Good customer service is important to me. These people are not Nigerian but they are Gambian. This is a Gambian restaurant.... These people do not greet customers well. They are always laughing loudly in the back every time I went. I wish I could tasteauthentic Nigerian, Ghanaian and Haitian food in Washington. Also I heard that Ghanaians and Nigerian are more welcoming. Foodisn?t bad but customer service cause me to not return. Read more

First time trying African food and I?m impressed! The food was super flavorful and I definitely enjoyed the afra chicken over... the yessa chicken. Both dishes had huge portion sizes! Definitely shareable. We came about 2-3 hours before closing on aSaturday and they sold out on about half of their menu so I suggest coming early. Read more

I have been in Seattle for a month for work from Houston. For anyone who knows how diverse Houston is, they will tell you there... is a lot of good African Restaurants. I have been trying many African restaurants around Everett and Seattle. I have mainly beenlooking for deep fried fish and Either grilled lamb, beef or chicken. BANTABA is the only place that made me feel the taste ofthe African Dish I am used to in Houston. This place is a must try for those looking for African type dish. Thank you all forthe great customer service !! Read more

Nice small place. Friendly service. The grilled lamb was so good. Good prices too. I like to try the fry fish but only when it... cools down and when they allow indoor dining. Read more

Was interested to try some new and based on popular reviews I happen to try this place. It is a small place and a simple menu... but their food was very good. Ordered plantain fries, yasa chicken and Afra lamb while some other options on the menu was notavailable. Overall all items are well prepared and had a good taste. My only complaint is the lamb dish had a lot of bones andfat in it that made it less enjoyable. Overall I felt the quantity and quality was very good and a must try. Read more
