I don't know if this was the hunger talking but, I was very disappointed on how they organize their seating queue. I was dining... alone and was told there's a 15 min. wait, I looked around the restaurant and ALL bar stools seating was empty and a couple ofother tables. I understand that they may be short staffed and that they weren't able to cover all tables, what disappointed methe most is I was there first but 5 other groups (groups of 2 to 5 each) was seated before me. I'm sure they have a goodexplanation for it but I find it very rude. I would think first come first serve basis is still honored in restaurants. When Iwas finally seated I observed that the young lady receiving guests aren't the best at explaining about the wait and saw a coupleof groups felt annoyed too because they were asked to wait in the wet and cold outside. Food was okay, serving was massive. Anorder of the combo plate can feed at least 2 people. The wait for the food was a little long too, I feel like this is due toshort-staffing so It was fine. The servers were SO nice (the young lady might need a little more experience) and you can seethey're really trying their best to keep up with the continued flow of customers coming in. Back to the food, the spring rollswere served hot which is good. The rest: Spam, Sausage, Beef, Mochi Chicken, Rice were all served room temp. The flavor is therethough and the serving is huge. Overall, okay dining experience. Might be better to go on a weekday and less busy time. Read more

Super nice staff, great menu. I often get Pork and Cabbage, Chili Frank, and build your own loco moco with Kalua Pork or... Meatloaf and Fried Rice. The portions are huge and it?s nice for leftovers. For to-go orders, it is super easy to order fromtheir app or give them a call. Read more

Affordable, Hawaiian/Japanese inspired comfort food at its finest! Unfortunately they didn't have the Saimin/Wonton Min when I... was there for lunch. The one hiccup was placing my order around 5 minutes after my family members, but receiving my dish closerto 20 minutes after them. It wasn't communicated well that my Chicken Chinese Salad would take significantly longer (to cook thechicken breast). That being said, service otherwise was friendly and attentive, especially with the water refills. The sesamevinaigrette was full of flavour and coated the ingredients well. The pork in the Kalua Pig and Cabbage was tender, maybe a tadsalty for some palettes. The Hawaiian Style Fried Rice was very hearty. The portions were huge, and enough for 2 portions. Havebeen to their 5th Ave location but first time trying their restaurant in Lynwood. Glad to see they're still doing well andmaking good food! Read more

While waiting for my tire install, I walked over to Kona Kitchen for a bite to eat. This restaurant is very welcoming and all... employees are pleasant and polite. They also follow safety guidelines for a stress free dining experience. As a bonus, I lovethe Hawaiian music playlist which always brings me back to the islands for a chill vibe. Since it was warm out, I opted for theChinese Chicken Salad, spam musubi and iced tea. The salad took a little while to arrive but the grilled chicken with the saladwas a standout and an upgrade from other places using shredded chicken. The musubi was tasty and filling. All in all it was aperfect meal for a warm day. Service was pleasant and responsive. Food was carefully prepared and ono. The restaurant clean andinviting. The Hawaiian vibe is great. What?s not to love? Being from Hawaii, I find myself coming back to Kona Kitchen fromtime to time for a taste of Aloha. Mahalo to my server Micah, originally from Oahu, for bringing the local spirit with him. I?llbe back again! Read more

We had lunch here on a Saturday. My husband got the Hawaiian plate and I got the fried rice with fried eggs on top. The Hawaiian... plate was a whole new experience! The pork was tender, juicy and slightly salty - which paired excellently with the sticky riceand pork lau lau (pork with spinach, wrapped and steamed in, I think, coconut leaves). We thought it was weird to have Mac saladbut it somehow cuts all the other flavors! This one plate was enough for the two of us, so we packed the fried rice, which madefor a satisfying dinner! Can?t wait to go back and try more Hawaiian food. Only negative - it was a very hot summer day and wehad to wait 20 minutes, sadly there was nowhere to wait! We had to stand in the hot sun the whole time. Read more

First visit here. Came after reading all the Google reviews. Less options for people who eates Chicken, sea food. No options for... vegetarians and vegans. Both the Kona classics - chicken dishes. With two scoops of white rice, mac salad and fried chicken. Both the dishes tasted good when it was hot. When it came down to room temperature, both the chicken was hard to chew it waslike chewing eraser/ rubber band ????. Mac salad was good. Both the chicken are dry so it doesn?t go with plain whiterice. Quantity- 4/5 Taste- 3/5 #Lynnwood #Washington Read more

First time here. It was Mother's Day afternoon but only a 15 minute wait, and nit every table was in use. The food was great!... Big portions, too. The Loco Moco with Portugese Sausage was delicious and the Kalua Pig Nachos were great! Everyone liked whatthey got and we went home with as much as we ate. The staff were all very friendly as well. Had an awesome dinner. I ordered the Korean Chicken plate, the plate comes with macaroni salad and rice. The chicken was moist... and had a great flavor with a little crunch. The macaroni salad was creamy, just needed a little salt and pepper. The wait staffwas awesome and always had my ice water filled. Everyone had a smile the place was clean and I would go back many times. Read more
