Went in Wednesday 5/18/22 for 2 orders of birria for take out since my regular spot on Compton was closed. Man was this a... disappointment. First disappointment was that they don?t sell rice at this location only beans. Didn?t really make much sensebut I was ok with it. Once I got my food I drove home only to realize that the meat was hard and stale. Like if they had givenme yesterdays food or something. The taste of the consomé was bland with almost no flavor. Only thing that was good was thetortillas. Second time eating here. Both times was a let down. Wouldn?t recommend. Just go to the one on Compton and 77th.Customer service sucks as well. If you don?t like your job why work there. Bad for business Read more

Being that I don't speak Spanish or have no idea what Birria was, this was my adventurous food finds. I found the staff are... extremely friendly and helpful. They will tell me something in Spanish and then translate in English so I'm sort of learn what Iam looking on the menu. I went with the Roasted kid (goat stew) and tried the Tepache (fermented pineapple drink). They werenice enough to give me a sample just in case I end up not liking it if I order a whole glass. My anticipation subsided when Icut my order. I took a bite of the goat stew and it was amazing. That means bus tender and juicy. It is not overpowered by anyspices but I can still taste the flavor of the goat's meat. They don't serve rice or beans with a meal but the homemade tortillamore than make up for it. The Tepache is like a kambucha made with pineapple and raw cane sugar. It is an acquired taste but ifyou like Kambucha, you should like this as well. This was release an unexpected delicious find. Oh and I ordered Flan fordessert to go ???? Read more
