I cannot express how good this food is! We tried it on a whim with door dash not knowing it was right around the corner.... Barbecoa isn’t greasy for fatty but pure perfection. Rice and beans just like my grandma used to make. You know that momentyou bite into food and it shoots you back to a childhood memory … this is what happens. Our VRBO host recommended Mexican Tienda when I asked about catering for a large group. We needed fajitas for 16 men and we were... able to get the entire meal prepared and ready to serve: beef & chicken fajitas, tortillas, grilled peppers & onions, rice,beans, cheese, onions & cilantro…YUM!! This place is awesome! The food is authentic and delicious. I enjoyed the renovated house with an open view of the kitchen where... food gets cooked as you wait. The place is clean and has a selection of food and conveniences above what you would expect of aMexican grocery. They had ALL of my favorite foods, snacks and spices.\n\nThe selection of salsas is exceptional. I tried themild, medium and two of the hot varieties. The mild is flavorful with no heat. The medium is a jalapeno blend what the just ahint of heat. The two hot varieties both had flavor, the reddest was a slow burn while the other packed a sinus clearing punch.I need to try the others! They have a 17\" burrito! That was not a typo. I will have to come try it with a matchingappetite.\n\nThe owner is a walking ray of sunshine. I highly recommend the place and will be returning!!! Mexican theater continues to produce good breakfast tacos. Their red roasted salsa is terrific. Some of you might not like it... because it’s not very hot but I really like the flavor of the roasted tomatoes in it. It makes the breakfast tacos that theycustomize for us perfect. Read more
